Trips and Spills

Post by josiemack »

Hi

DP and I are 10w3 d pg and I would appreciate some advice if someone has been in the same boat - I have hypermobile joints (double jointed, very flexible) and with the pregnancy hormones, this is causing some problems - I rolled my right ankle on Thursday and fell quite heavily, skinning my left knee, and did the same thing again on Friday, blood from the knee everywhere. I am wearing the same shoes I have been wearing for months and think this would probably have happened even if I had been wearing runners. I am thinking of looking for a physio that specialises in pregnancy, as maybe I need a brace for the weaker ankle - has anyone had any experience along these lines? Any advice gratefully received.

Apart from this, all is going well, not so tired as I have been over the past few weeks, and the 'morning' sickness is starting to abate.

Thanks for your thoughts
Jo
