Hi lovely people

I should be up and running with my own pc by tonight/tomorrow.....meanwhile........my hcg is 36 so I have/will miscarry/absorb this embie.

I am actually hugely relieved as I was convinced it was ectopic. I had my scan this morning before hcg was back, and the doctor and his senior thought they could see a sac near my ovary. They wouldnt let me go home until they had hcg results - which took about 3 hours. They prepared me for surgery (blood pressure, next of kin etc.) so it was a HUGE relief to know that I didnt have to go through that. At hcg 36 it was too small to see.

We are taking comfort knowing my uterus was a good environment for an embie and feel happy to know that, yet again, we are one step closer. I feel really optimistic for the next FET. Hopefully by Nov??!!!

Anyway, I have to go for bloods on Fri to double check levels are near/at zero.

I will post more tomorrow.....lots of love LUMI XXXXXXX

Lumi,

I'm sorry that things worked out this way. Better than emergency surgery, but still disappointing.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. There's several of us here who've experienced early miscarriage - be prepared for lots of different emotions. We're here for you.

Lumi,
The same thing happened to me with IUI about 1 1/2 yr ago or so. I was devasted BUT... It gave me comfort in knowing I/We can get pregnant and that maybe it was the healthiest to begin with. So stay positive and know it can happen and WILL happen to us all. THere are reasons for things sometimes not apparent but in time we will see the reasons for all.

Thoughts are with you

Take care my dear and look after DH too.

I am not so great! I have had my moments but really trying to get the most from this experience and feel excited about next try. We have seen a glimmer of hope and feel fortunate for that. I know that girls reading would do anything to be pregnant even for a little while, because that's just how I felt.

Thank you so much for all the kind words....love Lumi xxxx
