Hi All

I know I've not written for a while, but have been logging on and reading what has been going on.

I just wanted to say that when I went for a scan last week my consultant could see the pregnancy sack with content in but no heart beat. He said that wasn't unusal as it was an early scan at just 6 weeks. But when I went back today at 7 weeks, there still was no heart beat and he thinks that my pregnancy has ended.

I have to wait now as I have not had any signs like bleeding or pains and see if something happens or I will have to go into hospital apparently.

I can't really express how I am feeling at the moment. It took 5 attempts to get a positive result and DH and I were delighted to say the least. I don't know what is going to happen now, I feel confussed and angry, I had that hope of becoming a mother and now it has been taken away from me.

So I will continue to log on a see how you are all doing. Wishing you lots of luck.

Im so sorry for your loss. I know words are useless at the moment, but you know you can rely on the women on this board for support, especially the ones who have also gone through the same. Its so unfair after what you have been through.

Lumi and Anne - I'm so very sorry to hear your news it must be very difficult to deal with particularly after waiting so long for pregnancy. I know it's been said before but I'll say it again - there is a positive side to this - it means that you can get pregnant and if this time it wasn't quite right then it'll happen again and you will get your onged-for babies eventually. Doesn't really help now I know but over time things will get easier. Thinking about you both and your DHs - lots of love and big hugsxxx

Ann, I am so sorry to read about your loss. It must be so dreadful to finally achieve a positive result only to have it all taken away from you. Take care over the coming weeks and I hope that everything is resolved quickly so that you and DH are able to move on.
