Thrombophilia

Hi,
I am new to this board and am hoping someone out there can help me. I have had 3 miscarriages and finally diagnosed with thrombophilia. My husband and I are considering gestational surrogacy. I am wondering if anyone with thrombophilia (I have Factor V Leiden) has gone through IVF? I am afraid of clotting while using the stimulation drugs (my dr. thinks I had a PE with the last miscarriage). Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

I wish I could help and give you some advice, but unfortunately I don't know anything about your condition at all.

Have you tried doing an Internet search to see if there is any information out there available?

Good luck with everything - I hope you get things sorted quickly.

Hi there - Sorry to hear you've been through so much. I suppose it's positive though that your doc can finally put a reason to all the heartache ..? I hope you find the info you need.
