Hi all, Thought we should start a new thread for December cyclers since time is marching on! AF finally arrived last night (late - I can't remember the last time I actually WANTED it to happen - Amanda, did you get yours?). Am going for a scan on Monday afternoon and hope to get straight on with the injecting (menogon). If all goes according to plan, ec will be around 11th Dec. How's everyone else doing? love Nina

Hi Nina, I hope to be a December girl to. I am on day 20 of my cycle which are usually 30-35 days, so when AF arrives I will start down reg injections for 3 weeks and then on HRT tablets as I am doing a FET. Lets hope this is a good Christmas and a Happy New year for us all. TTFN Mandy.XXXX

Hi Nina and Mandy I am sniffing synarel at the moment and due to start menagon on 5th December. All being well, e/c on 18th December. THis is my first ICSI cycle and so far so good on the side effects front. Certainly hope 2003 is our year. Good luck and take care Janice

Not long to go now... Hi! I am getting a step closer to ET - go for Day 8 scan of FET on 27th. Am on 6 oestrogen tablets a day, then if all goes well will start Gestone jabs on Day 12. Looking at 6th Dec for ET - we have 10 frozen. I just hope we manage to get ET this time - our first ICSI ended on EC day with me having OHSS. I can't believe that if all goes to plan this time in 2 weeks I will have 2 embryos inside me!! It is all I can think about now! So let's hope that we all get the best Xmas present ever this year... Hi everyone, this is all new to me and I am having my first attempt at IUI. Waiting for AF to arrive beginning of next week like you say Nina can't remember the last time I actually wished it would come. I'm injecting buserelin, due for my base line scan 2nd December and then I start menopur injections every other day, if all goes to plan will probably have IUI around the 16th. Feel like a pin cushion by the end of it. Good luck. love Chrissi

Hi girls, Well, AF finally did put in an appearance and what a whopper!!! I had my day 5 base scan on Monday and I had really geared myself up to starting the puregon injections that evening. Unfortunately the levels? were not high enough, so I am now sniffing synarel 3 times a day (once in each nostral)to increase levels. I have to go back to the clinic this Thursday for another scan and blood test, hopefully I will then start the injections in the evening. A provisional date of Friday 13th for EC, is this a good omen!!!! ET would then be on Monday 16th December. Its great that we will be all be on the 2 'ww'ing game around the same time, although I cant help thinking that by this New Year's eve I will know if I am pregnant, seems unreal.... so near yet so far. I am trying very hard to remain positive that this will work for us, but I can't help just holding a little tiny bit back for self presevation! Any way I have rabbited on for long enough! look after yourselves. Amanda

AF arrived for me today – a day late would you believe it. Anyway due for my base line scan on Monday and then hopefully I can start on Menopur injections. Amanda I know exactly how you feel. I am scared stiff it might not work and can hardly dare to let myself believe that it will. I guess self preservation is only natural. We will all have to be positive in this together and hopefully the new year will bring us all good news. Thinking of you all. love Chrissi

All systems go!... Went for day 8 scan today for FET and everything is progressing nicely. The womb lining is good and is 9.1 mm thick - need about 10mm. So ET is planned for next Thursday - 5th December! I can't believe it is so soon. So by 21st Dec will know one way or another. Now praying that the embryos thaw out OK on Thursday. So won't have interent access from 4th till 7th when I am staying in Leeds. Wish me luck. And good luck to everyone else - we are nearly there! Michelle x

Hi there I'm new to this site and to this IVF carry on. Currently on Day 9 of puregon injections, dh has become an expert and we're hoping et will take place next Mon/Tue. So I'll know before Xmas either way, Wishing all of you best of luck Mandy

NINA 1 How did your scan go have you now started injecting? I had another scan yesterday and I finally began my Puregon injections last night, it took me about 5 mins to pluck up the courage to push the needle in, but I can honestly say I didnt feel a thing! I had been fretting about self-injecting for weeks and there is nothing to it. seem to be wishing my life away at the moment, just want the next 12-14 days to fly by!! Keep positive girls. Hi December buddies, I am on day 26, so hoping AF will come soon so I can start down reg injections. My last 2 months have both been 35 dayers though, so it could be a while yet!!!!!!!!!!! It is so odd wishing it to start when all the other months you are hoping it won't. I will have to call myself Mandy(1) as there are now 2 off us on this thread and also an Amanda.Lets hope it is a lucky month for us all. Good Luck and keep posting. Mandy(1).

Hi December girls! Good to hear everyone's news! I had a scan on Monday and all was fine. Started injecting menogon (3 ampoules) on Tuesday, so on 4th day of injecting today. E/c planned for Monday 9th. But had a blood test this morn, and they phoned earlier with the results. Said levels were low (not sure what), and I have to do 5 ampoules of menogon from tonight until my first scan on Monday - then they'll reassess. Yikes, hope I get some follies out of this! Had no probs in 1st attempt in June(different clinic)although didn't get a + ive result. But remember that we had to have a couple of extra days of stims to get follies nice and mature. Oooh, feeling a bit anxious now! Hope everyone else is OK! love, Nina

Hi there Had news on Fri that my EC will take place on Tue with ET on Thurs, so it looks like Michelle and I will go through the 2WW together! Take care, everything crossed now, apart from my legs of course!!! Love Mandy(2)
