Hi Ellie

I am fine - very scared, just wish I knew that everything was going alright in there. I have to wait till next week for another scan and I can tell you this is murder.

I have these odd pains in my tummy, they go as quickly as they appear so I am hoping that these are just stretching pains. I also have this weird taste in my mouth and feel sick unless I eat, so as you can imagine I am hoping that these are all good signs.

Does this worrying ever get any easier?

Anyway, how are you doing - any news on the FSH levels?

Little P

I have just read your news - been a bit caught it with my stuff. I am so sorry LP - but hang on in there. It is so common to lose one twin - one of the -ves with IVF is we know so much so soon. Natural pregnancies wouldnt have ever known that there were 2 embies there - stay calm. I know you are worried about killer cells etc. but I am sure the doctors have that under control and this IS NOT related - I know a little time has passed now so hope you are feeling more confident.

All the sicky signs sound wonderful! My mum said she couldn't clean her teeth (heaved) and smelt electrical burning for 9 months! Over sensitive or what!!! I bet the taste is metallic. All good stuff :D :D :D

Lots of love LUMI xxxxxx

Hi Little P
I wish I could say you worry less as the pregnacy progresses but I didn't. As Lumi says sometimes we know too much!! I set myself little targets throughout and often took it one day at a time.
Your symptoms sound good!! I had forgotton about the teeth brushing thing until Lumi mentioned it!!!! The pains sound normal as well. Your body is still trying to recover from the IVF don't forgrt.

I just had another no go this month but the FSH levels are down to 10.5 and Mr T almost let me do ahead and I got as far as having a scan following the blood test!!! I also still have a cyst on one of my overies. I am quite pleased in a sad way as it wasn't an ideal month and I don't want to waste my time if things aren't good from the outset.

Take care of yourself and your litle bump and next week will be here before you know it

Thanks Ellie and Lumi

All your reassurances are so helpful - it's silly really, but I just can't stop worrying.

I've wanted to be in this situation for so long and now I am I keep looking for things to worry about

Ellie - I know it's disappointing not to get the go ahead, but it is good news that your FSH levels have come down so much - I shall keep everything crossed that next month is your month.

Thanks again girls - you're both great.

Love and hugs

Little P

Thanks girls

Feeling good today - I have realised that positive energy is something that I keep preaching to others and should now take onboard myself. I have wanted to be in this situation for so long, I should be glowing not looking for problems so from now on I am going to focus on Little One growing inside me.

I am so glad I found this site when I did - goodness only knows which side of sanity I would be without all you wonderful girls.

I hope that you are all ok - anyone got any interesting plans for the w/e?
