Does progesterone shots prevent AF from showing up?

I'm 13 DPT and just got a negative HPT, however I have no signs of AF showing up. Does progesterone shots prevent AF from coming??

Hi there and welcome to the Site. Progesterone can both delay, and bring AF on early. It totally messes up your cycle.

Have you tested before your official test date ? Many girls on here have tested early with hpts and got -ve results, only to go on to get a BFP )big fat positive) the following day. 24 hours can really make the difference, so if you are early, pls don't give up.

I too did a Blood test and found -ve after 12 days after the ET as per the clinc's schedule.. Am asked to do a urine test on the 30th of this month .. And am on progesterone suppositiories So do u think i still have some chances ?

rk ... If your clinic have told you to test on 30th, this is when you should test. Testing earlier only brings heartache ... if it's a negative result, you're still left in doubt 'cos you tested early.

The date for the blood test was as per the schedule given by the doctor.. However the doc says still to do another test on 30th for confirmation
I just wish it gets +ve .. This is my second IVF and i know how stressfull it is especially for working women

Vandana - I've everything possible crossed for you for your test on 30th ... In the meatime, lots and lots of positive visualisation pls ... imagine baby embies getting comfy down there ... I'm sure it helps !
