Sh*t - positive but low HCG

Hi all tested today and clinic just phoned to say it is positive but very low and want me to test again on Friday. HCG is 32 which is quite bad isn't it? They tell me it could very easily increase but I have bad period pains today and feel it is more likely to decrease. Has anyone been through this? I am praying it will be alright but don't feel too optimistic. Thanks Sandra X

Hi Sandra Congratulations on your positive result! The clinic told me they are looking for a level above 50 but they had known of women with a level of 30+ being ok as it may have been that the embryo implanted later than expected.My level was 14 so totally hopeless!!!I am due to start down reg again on the 29th.Good luck and I hope it turns out ok Im sure it will Frances

Thanks Frances, that gives me some hope. Just hope I am a late implanter. Sorry it didn't work out for you but good luck for 29th onwards. 2003 will be a good one! Sandra
