thrombophilia and IVF

Hi,
I have had 3 miscarriages and have been diagnosed with thrombophilia. My husband and I are considering gestational surrogacy. I was wondering if anyone with thrombophilia has had ivf? I am worried about clotting while using the stimulation medication (my dr. thinks I had a PE with the last miscarriage). Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Im sorry to hear of your situation, it must be very hard for you..Im afraid I don't have any information on your condition, but if you would like to know more about gestational (host) surrogacy, please let me know..we have been through host surrogacy, the result being our beautiful boy/girl twins born in Dec. 2003 with the help of our amazing surrogate and my friend..

Thank everyone for the kind words. I am interested in learning more about gestational surrogacy. We are currently working with an agency to do a match for us. I am nervous about it, but this is the happiest I've seen my hubby in a while, so I am hoping for the best!

I have trobophilia, homozygote for MTHFR and for that I take baby aspirin and folgard.
Which kind do you have?
A frien of us has Protein C deficient and she is in her 8th month of her 5th pregnancy!!!! yes she had 4 babys!!!! before and all with the help of Heparin.Her caseit's one of the most complicated tipe of trombophilias, and she has 4 childrens.So my final point is there's hope.
