i had my scan and bloods today, we are looking good... my e2 was 305 and i have 28 follicals...biggest are 10mm... so we are continuing as planned.... this seems to be a better cycle, my e2 was not so high, and i still have good follical growth... we are still keeping a PMA!!!

Hi Crasmus,

Sounds like your doing really well

Main side effect is that im so tired, a bit bloated and a bit grumpy

but overall not to bad really. Be glad to have my scan on wednesday so I can see how its all going. How are your side effects

hi gailp-

i'm ok... starting to feel a bit bloated, and more tired...i feel like i could go to bed at 8:00... my nurses always joke that an ivf bed time should be no later then 8:30pm....

i have another scan and blood on monday. my dr does them just about everyother day, to make sure i'm not getting ohss...better safe then sorry..

you'll have to let me know how your scan goes wednesday!! good luck and take care!!

Hi Ladies just started my BC pills today so I will be cycling with you all in august. I have to take these for 8 days and then go in for a saline sonogram to make sure all is well. very excited, this is our first attempt.

Well had my scan today. All OK (after my spotting scare last week) – no problems with the lining. A little disappointed in that my consultant reckons there’ll only be about 8 eggs collected (which is down from the 12 I got last time) so that makes me worry I won’t have enough fertilised to be considered for the blastocyst like I usually do (my clinic like you to have 6). Good-ish news is that he thinks I’ll be ready for EC earlier than planned - brought forward to Monday or Tuesday (from the Weds) so that gives me more time in the UK before we have to fly out to Italy (I was concerned about any affects of flying/stress on implantation). Have to say I don’t feel bloated much but maybe that’s because I have less follies than last time, when I suffered a bit from mild OHSS symptoms.Still, I’d prefer more follies! Next scan will be Friday when they’ll make the decision about EC day.

Hello all,
And thanks for your concerns. I've had yet another scan today and things seem to be looking a bit better. I have now got 3 good size follicles, one smaller one and possibly another one and am now hopefully going for EC on Wednesday. I have to ring the clinic in a minute to find out for sure. The nurse today was much more optimistic. If I remember rightly I only had 4 or 5 follicles visible last time but they got 6 eggs! I really should have kept a record - too late now I guess. I'm hoping that the same happens this time and they actually get more eggs than they thought. So - despite my rocky start we are hopefully going for EC on Wednesday and ET on Friday - keeping everything crossed for then.
I guess the REAL fun starts then.
I suppose we'll have to begin a test date thread soon as more of you will be begining the dreaded 2ww.
