Not my time ....yet !

Post by Dawn »

Hi Girls

Posting this late as once again cannot sleep.
Had pg test yesterday but unfortunately negative.
Dh seems to have taken it worse than me and normally
nothing much seems to get him down. What's made it
worse is he has had to go off this morning on a
residential course but only until Thursday so I'm
throwing myself into Xmas organising. Also heard news
from a friend this morning which really gave me a kick
up the butt & am counting my blessings.

Going in to work Wednesday as feel if I don't go in
now I won't want to go in at all ! (could it be all
those day time TV programmes I seem to watch ?!)

Anyhow, this was only our 1st attempt at Icsi & never
expected to get even this far as I'm old (39 next month)
well thats what my consultant keeps telling me- at least
he's honest. Will book follow up appt in New Year &
hoping to try again.

I must say I still feel really hopeful with all the positive
results flying around. Each time I hear I feel chuffed to bits
for you as most of you have had many attempts. :)

Well done & good luck to everyone trying at the moment or in
the New Year.

Love
Dawnxx

Dawn
So sorry it didn't work out for you and DH but it's good you're not giving up hope. As for being "old", get a grip!! You are only 39 and as long as you've got one good egg in you there's hope. There are millions of first time mums out there who are in their 40's even. So try to enjoy Christmas and the very best of Luck for 2003.
LOL
Terri
xxxx

Dear Dawn,

Sorry to hear your news. There's lots of us out there that know exactly what you and you're husband are going through at the moment. Although you feel crap at the moment, it does get easier with time. Enjoy Christmas and look forward to having a better year in 2003.

Alison P

Hi Dawn

Just wanted to add I'm 38 rolling on 39 and my consultant didn't say to wasn't going to happen - just that we should concentrate on it now rather than hang about. Stamina and belief...

Have a good Christmas

Charlotte7
