faint blue line - am I pregnant?

Well, did something silly at 6.30 this morning and did a hpt. I did it to put my mind at rest as I expected nothing but there is a faint blue line! Not expecting that!! So am I pregnant or what? Have I tested too soon? It is Day 14 - due to test on Day 16 at the hospital. Having daily progesterone & oestrogen so there no Hcg going in to me. Now I am panicking even more!! Am going to do another hpt tomorrow morning and am hoping it is a darker line. Any advice anyone - apart from that I shouldn't have done it!! God I am so cross with myself now - but in my warped logic it was meant to be negative therefore I was prepared for Friday and would stay clam at the hospital. Not gone to plan now though has it!!? Hi Michelle I'm pretty sure you are pg. I tested positive a couple of weeks ago as well and when I tested on day 15 (supposed to wait to 16!) I also got a really faint line. When I called the hosp they told me that any line at all means that I am pg....and not to even waste my money testing again. Of course I paid no attention and did 2 more tests - both positive but still quite faint. I've got my first scan on the 24th and can't wait for that (wishing away the days). Test again in the morning - if you can possible wait till Friday wait (know I couldn't though). Well done. Love Michelle (the other neurotic one!) x

hi michelles i agree with michell....a positive is a positive.........wahoo it looks good dont it !! do another on day 16 but all looks good i'd say weldone hugs beck x

Hi Michelle, congrats I think that means your pg. I also was very bad and tested early. I had two different tests. I used the most expensive one first and there was definately a line, next morning I used the cheaper one and I could barely see the pink dot which freaked us out slightly so we tested again using the more expensive one and again a nice pink line. Moral of the story is that some tests are more sensitive than others and it's very hard to tell unless you can do a direct comparison. So try not to worry it was probably the test's fault! Hi Michelle, Itested at 6.30 yesterday am at 14 days cos that s when I was told to. Yippeee!!! I have a blue line and my lot said that even a faint blue means you're pg. Wow I can't believe so many positives!!! Love Louiseg

Dear Michelle I tested the day before my 2ww was over and there was a faint positive line. I spoke to my consultant and she said I was pregnant and to test again 48 hours later because your hormones surge every 2 days and when I tested again the line was much darker. So congratulations it definitely sounds like you are pregnant!!! Tracey D
