Hello All,
Thanks for your good wishes and the GREAT news is that both eggs fertilised so we're back for ET at 10am tomorrow
I know that I now have the dreaded 2ww to get through but I'm so glad to have got to this stage. This tmt cycle has been more up and down that the others but at least we've got to here. The down side is that we've been here before (but with 3 embies) - twice and have had a -ive each time. But for now I'm feeling positive - thanks to all of your support.

JG - don't test early. I know the temptation is amazing but try and resist, just keep getting loads of rest and looking after yourself.

well, it looks like we are going to have our cycle canceled.... i'm waiting for the offical call from the office, but my folicals stopped growing... they still do not understand why... i have so many folicals (40ish) and a drop in my estrdial is unheard of...
i did talk with the Dr. when i went in for my scan.... he too was baffled by the drop... he also said that he doesn't know what he should do for next cycle... I was on the same drugs and doses and got a positive 2 cycles ago... now we get this drop and cycle canceled!!
i swear.... it's all this hope and work, 3 shots a day, blood draws daily, scans everyother day..... and i have NO chance of anything.... he said that if i did not have so many folicals he would think about a IUI, but nope, not even that..... IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, i hope that this month brings a ton of positives to everyone else!!!!

Colleen, so sorry to hear your news. I know it's painful and frustrating with all the physical and emotional work you've put into this cycle.
The same thing happened to me 2 cycles ago (when trying for IUI). I had over 40 follicles and my E2 level dropped drastically towards the end of the cycle - it was also cancelled b/c they feared ohss, and my follicles stopped growing. I was taking Puregon at the time...my doctor couldn't explain it either.
Were you drinking tons of water to help your follies grow? - I can't think of any reason of why this happens...nature's mysterious that way.
This is a good time to regain your strength and do all those things you missed doing (having a few drinks
) before your next cycle. Stay strong and my prayers are with you.

Hi Everyone,
Not been on-line for a short while - time to catch up with everyone.
I've just finished my first week on Buserelin. The injections are not as bad as I thought they would be. I am not really suffering from any side effects. I get an itchy tummy for about 5mins after each injection (I have read that this is quite common) and the last couple of days I have been a little tempramental (got my period today so that may explain the mood swings). I am due back at LWH for my base line scan on the 17th of August. Fingers crossed everything is going according to plan.
How is everyone else. Anyone suffering any major side effects with the Buserelin. Anyone else get the itchy tummy thing.
