Heh ladies hows it all going?

I'm now on day 2 of my stim drugs. I freaked yesterday completely when I had to do the injection. After I'd done all the mixing and had drawn up the drugs into the syringe I had 2 huge airbubbles in layers and I couldn't shift them. DH was away. I tried to get the air bubbles out by expelling them but as they were in layers I released a heap of the drugs. I just worked myself up big time into a sorry state! I didn't even want to call the clinic I have felt they have not been the most friendliest of people recently - not rude just make me feel a bit stupid - I realise they are busy! Anyways after a while I did call and thankfully spoke to a nurse who I hadn't spoken to before and she was cool and really really sweet - thank god!

Anyway this morning wasn't too bad - there is just so much drug to inject - nearly 3 times as much as the lucrin!!

Sorry to be negative. I will drum up some smiles pls send pma my way!

Sorry must fly a sales rep has just turned up unannounced! back soon.

Hi all

Brilliant news Debbie !! fingers crossed.

Colleen hang in there sending you loads of hugs and good wishes.

There are so many of us so loads of hugs and good wishes to you all.

Day 12 of down regging, hormones all over the place this week and AF from hell!!!! Also a lot of headaches.
Not complaining just hope its all worth it.

Brought Zita Wests "Fertility and Conception" as advised -a godsend. Why don't clinics give you this much imformation? Baseline scan Monday, injections Tuesday it's now really starting to feel real. I'm feeling positive but scared that it will all come crashing down any minute. It's so good that i can come on here and say all this. DH stressed with work(and probably all this but won't say- men!).

Anyway day off today and going to put my feet up.

Take Care everyone
love Clairx :)

Colleen, sorry to hear your news. Don't know what an E2 level is (my clinic in the UK doesn't take bloods - just scans only, I think UK clinics are maybe a little less scientific than US ones?) but hope they can improve for next time.

Debbie -2 out of 2 fertilisation rate is really good - can't get better than that!

Had scan today and I'm back to EC next Weds. Follies seem to have increased since Monday (now have 16) and doc now reckons I'll get more eggs than last time's 11 - fingers crossed. Follie sizes are 13-14mm with a couple at 16 so hopefully these will all have reached the magic 18 by Monday.

Now have the difficult task of thinking of what to say to work to explain next week's absences Mon pm for scan and Weds for EC. Already had one call this morning asking where I was even though I told them I had the morning off!

Good luck to all other August cycles - Gail, how are you doing?

Update with me for August thread

Post by tonyacheek24 »

Hello everyone!

Hope everyone is well. I went to the doctor this morning and I have 11 follices but my highest is only at 14.4 I have some that are 13 12 and two of them are still below 10. I'm praying my estrogen level keeps increasing. My ER date is August 12 which is by next friday. This is my first IVF and I have been so nervous. I think I should be a little further then what I am now. I'm still praying everyday. Wishing luck to all you ladies out there going through the same thing.Do I still have alot of time to reach 18mm? Has anyone started out like this. I know Sue told me she started slow in the begging. Some advice would helpful. How far along should I be right now if My ER date is the 12th which is next Friday?

Your follie sizes sound fine for the stage you are at – you have still got a week to go so that is plenty of time for them to get to the 18mm! If your clinic was concerned about your response levels then they would up your dosage I would have thought, so sounds to me like you are on track. I still have quite a few at 13-14mm as of today but they are scheduling EC for Weds anyway and my dosage is staying the same. My next scan will be Monday so fingers crossed they grow the extra 4mm in 3 days.

24 follies is an excellent number! Fingers crossed for your EC Wednesday.

I have to start the steroids today for killer cells - looking at the packet of warnings they seem pretty scary. Side-effects include weight-gain (puffy face) and hairiness - not so good!

:) Hi everyone,

Been missing for a week and so much has gone on for everyone - good luck to all of you on TWW.

I went for my scan today, after being on stim drugs 225 of menopur for a week, I have only 12 follicles at the moment and they are quite small - so I am onto 375 of menopur until Monday when they will rescan and hope for better results and no OHSS - here's hoping!

Feeling really nauseous tho - Any tips?

I'll be around now for a few days as have next week off work, hoping all goes well with the increased dose and I may be on for EC on weds and ET on Friday.

PMA :D all the way! :D

Best wishes to everyone

Sharon x

thanks to you all for your support.... i'm still trying to work things out... i was really sad today, as i talked with my girl friend and she said that she's preg again... her third... her last is only 9 months old... i'm happy for her, just makes me sad.. and it seems like there were hundreds of preggo ladies at the store this morning... i think that you tend to notice them more....but wow there was a lot!!

gail (my cycle bud)- good luck on EC on Monday we'll cross our fingers... it sounds like you got a bunch of lovely follies

good luck dancola and tonya and sharron for you EC on next week..

hope all of my old cycle buddies get BFP..

take care
