I thought I would introduce myself. My names Yvonne and Im 34. I had appenisitis when I was young and I have been left with multiple adhesions.
I have just started treatment. I have started using injections instead of the nasal spray, was very worried as I wasn't sure what to expect, but so far so good, no side effects - well just a bit tearful! (Every day!!)
I would like to hear from anyone who has started treatment, I would like to hear how others are coping.

There are many girls in tmt at the moment. If you go over to the General Forum and find the August Buddies thread - that's where they are all hanging out. Pls feel free to join them.
There is a thread next to the top on the General which explains all the abbreviations we use.
Don't worry about the tears ... You'll find you're far from alone !

1st cycle (ICSI)....Mar 04 -ve.
2nd cycle (ICSI)....Aug 04 -ve.
3rd cycle FET........May 05 -ve.
4th cycle (ICSI) ... Feb 06 -ve
5th cycle FET ..... Feb/Mar 11
Hi Yvonne, don't worry about the tears, they just show you're still human It is a hugely emotional time and it's good to have the support of people who know exactly how you feel.
As Sandra said, have a read of the August Buddies and join in the chat.

Welcome. This is also my first IVF . Am down reggin at moment(sniffing) and going for baseline scan in morning hopfully start stimming on tuesday. Have felt tearful this weekend ( for no particular reason) and felt really rough last week(headaches, tiredness and v.v. heavy AF) have rested this weekend and feel physically better. Feel really anxious about tomorrow and I don't no why. Am have joined August buddies so look forward to "chatting" to you on there.

Thanks for the replies, I feel relieved i am not the only one that feels the way I am feeling. I talk to my dh but i don't think he understands! I am so glad I found this site.
I will keep updating on my progress and look forward to hearing how you all get on.

Welcome to the site, it is nice to see someone else from Dundee. Are you going to Ninewells? I have just completed 3 IUIs with no success. This forum has been a godsend for me, no question is off limits, just ask away and someone will reply. I found moving over to the general forum more usesful as more people post on this one. Good luck
