AF arrived today

Post by jg »

Looks like a BFN for me :( AF arrived today and is a steady, heavy flow. I spoke with my doctor and he suggested I still test on Aug 11 and continue with prog. suppositories....is this normal protocol??

I will be buying Zita West's book for the next cycle and attempting acupuncture. Does anyone live in the Toronto, Canada area who could recommend a good fertility acupuncturist?

Jg, I've only bled once during my 2ww but like you, advised to continue with the meds - just in case.

Sorry it looks like it's all over. Well done for thinking of the future but let yourself get upset/angry/sad if it is a BFN first.

hugs
Debra.

Big hug Julia, i know how horrible it is for you, I really do.
But it's still worth doing the test. I know you don't hold much hope but you never know.
Take care and keep resting,

Thank you for your kind words and support. I will do the test as advised, but my hope is nil at this point...flow is heavy and bright red.

I have allowed myself to cry, get angry - and dh has taken me out to the city for the day to help get my mind off things. I'll be taking about 3-months off til the next cycle (maybe 4), so I'll be strong and ready for the emotional rollercoaster that is IVF.

Wishing those who are testing this month the best of luck...those +ves really help motivate me to go on and be hopeful.

Take good care of yourselves ladies,
Julia
