No spotting - can u still get a +ive?

Post by Nina1 »

Hi all,

I'm on day 10 of 2ww and just getting af pains, exactly as I did for 1st attempt. Pretty much think this attempt is going the same -ive way. Annoying as I'm not drinking until get af or a negative, but test day isn't till 27th - guess I'll be able to make up for my abstinence at New Year!

Anyway, I've had no bleeding, and so assume implantation hasn't taken place. My question is this: has anyone had a positive without having any spotting?

Thanks girls! Happy Xmas!
Nina

Hi Nina,
I started getting bad AF pains the same time as you (our ist attempt at ICSI), I had absolutely no spotting at all, and my test day was Fri 13th, and it was +ve and I continued to get AF pains until a couple of days ago!!! Still I have no spotting!!
So try not to worry too much, it varies from person to person.
Good luck on the 27th, I'll be thinking about you and keeping my fingers crossed!!
Have a lovely Xmas,
Scorry x

Hi Nina

I tested last Monday witha +ve, had AF pains before the test and still have them. Didn't have any spotting either. The only answer you'll get to your symptoms is through a test. Although I think we all obsessed over every twinge during the 2ww.

Lets hope your abstinence pays off, best of luck for the 27th

Love Mands
