Hello my name is Jackie and I am currently on an ICSI programme at Winterbourne Hospital in Dorchester,at present I have been trying to Down regulate for 8 weeks and am now due for a scan this wednesday. Fingers crossed. I tried nasal spray now injections.
back in 1990/91 I failed at chalybeate Southampton on 3 IVF's and 1 frozen attempt so hey! this is it my final chance as I'm now 40!
Hope to meet alot of new friends on here it's great to know I'm not alone.
fingers crossed for you...i agree the waiting is so hard, it seem like thats all you can think of. I have read that the more attempts of the better your chance so hope that this is the one that works for you.
i am a newbie 2 and have posted a msg on the intro page. i am also w8ing for wed 10th as 1st scan @ super ovulation stage, hoping the drugs have worked. it's my first ivf attempt after 2 ectopics and a year wait. Amazed at the excited feeling i have but also at the trepidation and fear that overwhelms me. let me know how you get on on wed and I'll do the same.
There are a couple of threads that might help you out on the General Forum - the 40+ thread and the August Buddies. You never know it might help you stay calm talking to like-minded people who are currently going through treatment.
Hi Jackie. Like LittleP suggested, try joining in with some of the people at a similar stage of tmt and suddenly the world seems an easier place if you can chat to people who completely understand what you're going on about!
The 40+ board is nicely busy now (hooray!), we had a +ve result this week, there are 3 people on the 2ww and 3 more starting to down reg in Aug as well as several waiting a little longer. You'll be in good company.
