Hello ladies
I'm just leaving now to head to the town where I will have my scan tom. Its a 3 1/2 hour drive away! I'm all packed - I am not sure whether to pack for a night or a week!!! If the follies aren't at the right size tom. they will scan again Sunday and every two days after that. As it is so far away we will be staying down there. Hopefully I will be able to get to an email cafe (amongst all the backpackers no doubt) when I am down there and I will let you know how I got on. I will also read about the weeks activities with the rest of you! Hope it was a positive and healthy week all round!

brs88, welcome back to the boards. I know where u are at the negative is hard to deal with but u seem stronger now, I wish you all the best for your forth coming ivf. I had my 2nd iui yesterday and now Im on the 2ww.
Hoping I ge the good news ths time. x x Jag, I hope that u get to see this msge at the internet cafe. 3 1/2 hrs drive is mad. I was whinging about the 45 mins drive I have to do to my clinic.... Now I realise thats nothing.....Does your dh drive? Mine doesnt drive, after suffering with panic attacks after an incident on the road. So it's down to me and sometime I wish I didnt have to keep driving. Im sure your'll be ok if he drives.

Well I had EC yesterday. Think both my clinic and I were totally blown away with the result - 25 eggs! I kept thinking they'd mistook me for someone else. Not bad for someone who will be 40 in 2 months but also pretty freaky - 12 is my average and I was on same dosage (225ml Gonal) so no idea where the extras came from.
Good news this morning is that 16 of them fertilized. We're on the watch list for a Monday blasto transfer but obviously will monitor each day.
Downside is that I have incredible pain. Yesterday I was vomiting quite a bit and had problems urinating, but that seems to have stopped now and just the abdo pains. Planned to go into work at lunchtime but given I can barely stand up straight that's out of the window. No choice tomorrow though- have to go in (but will fit in an acupuncture session).
Any news from the other girls on EC this week? Sharon, Gail? Hope everyone else is doing OK.

Well we are here - the drive wasn't too bad and DH drove all the way. I did find it a bit uncomfortable after a while, with this left ovary being a bit of a pain! Anyways I can't browse for long as I'm in an internet cafe and its a bit of a slow connection to say the least so I will just have to read this page of replies!
Nicola - way to go! 16 fertilised that is fab news!!! I'm doing a happy dance for you!!! Whoop Whoop! Bummer about the pain you poor thing, I bet you want to be really happy, but the pain doesn't allow you to . Hopefully acupuncture will sort it out - I do think acup is great.
