First things first.......Merry Christmas and fingers crossed for everyone in the new year...Also well done to everyone who has had positives. A/F arrived today and I phoned my clinic, I start sniffing on the 9th Jan, Baseline w/c 27th Jan. Egg collection w/c 10th Feb. Anyone going to be aound the same date????? Love Mags

Hi, i'm looking for a buddy too ! ! I've got to take neurothesterone on 28th to get an AF. then all going well should start sniffing on 5th January. If all goes according to schedule EC planned around 5th Feb. My drugs arrived today and i got really excited, it all seems so real now ! have a good xmas and speak to you soon hopefully on how you're going. Becky x

Hi Mags & Bex HOPE YOU BOTH HAD A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HOPING THAT WE ALL HAVE A VERY HAPPY 2003. I too have got my dates ready for my 2nd attempt at IVF. Start sniffing Monday 6th January; 1st scan 29th January; EC on 12th February (may change); ET on 14th February (may change). Happy that I will be starting soon but also feeling down knowing what both myself and dh will be going through if this attempt does not work!!! Keep in touch cycle buddies Love Deborah xoxoxo

Hi all I am waiting for af to start to start sniffing for a FET. I had a m/c 8 weeks ago and we are going back to hopefully use 2 out of our 3 frozen babies. Wishing you all well and will be here to share our journeys together lots of love woppa xxxxxxx

Hi everyone, I started sniffing christmas day (af was 4 days late for the first time in years!!) and am due to go in for first scan and start Puregon injections on the 22nd Jan. If all goes to plan EC is 3rd Feb and ET the 5th, hopefully. Good luck and keep posting Lisa

Hi I've just joined but have read a lot of messages over the last year and they always make me feel that I'm not the only one. We have unexplained fertility - have had 3 IUI's, 1 IVF (failed fertilisation) and 2 ICSI. I'm due to start sniffing 1st Jan (hopefully a good start to the year) for our 3rd ICSI and think EC should be 3rd Feb - would love to have a cycle buddy. Hi there gals, I'm new to this site and I have to say, I'm really pleased to have someone out there doing the same thing as I. I'm out here in HK and I have nearly finished my first lot of injections for my 1st attempt at ICSI. I don't know anyone out here who is doing the same thing as I and seeing as it's the Chrisy hols, nobody is at the 'let's help and support you' desk either!! I'd really love to hear from other gals on their 1st or 2nd attempts at ICSI. I got some bad news today from my doctor who said my hormone levels were too high and that we may have to stop even the egg retrieval which was rather disappointing especially seeing as he also said I might have to wait three months to start again. (give my poor ovs a rest)! I'm new at all of this so anyone with ideas on how to handle my doctor, would be great!! I hope you all had a great Christmas and look forward to hearing from some of you soon. See ya Neroli

Hi Neroli, I believe the best advise is to drink lots and lots of water - as much as you can, although I have read 3/4 litres of water per day. This will help reduce your risk of OHSS (ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome), which I'm guessing is why they are saying they may cancel - there is some information on this site and can be found under insemination > Risks and complications. Some clinics let people 'coast' (which means have a few days without any drugs) to also reduce the risk. Have you been told how many eggs they're expecting to retrieve? Don't let your clinic cancel your cycle until they have explored this - after all, it is your dream they are putting on hold - be firm. Never been in your position, so feel for you - have had 2 failed ICSI cycles, first negative (July 2002), 2nd ectopic (Nov 2002). Hoping 3rd will be Feb/Mar next year. Hi everyone i am new to this site and i wish you all well for the future.I have had two icsi failures in the past year I had my ET done on the 18th Dec and i am due to take my test on new years day I decided to do my test early and done it today the 30th and it was negative i have no bleeding or crammpy pain at present has any one out there had a negative then positve test.I am really worried this has not worked.
