need advice about auntie flo

Post by heather »

Hiya all,
In a bit of a tizz at the moment, as i am waiting for af to show, and she's late. Do any of you know if this is common after an early miscarraige? I'm usually a strict 25 day gal, but im on day 29 now, with absolutely no sign of af rearing her ugly head. Do you think that this could be a by product of the buserelin, puregon and those yukky supposetries that i had to take a few weeks ago? I was natterin to a gal on another chatroom and she suggested that i do a pregnancy test just to make sure. I don't think i could even face doing that as i know it would be a big fat negative. I just wish af would hurry up and come, if she's going to. Any words of wisom would be most appreciated. i havent even spoken to hubbs about this as i don't want him to get his hopes up about anything.
yours tizzily..
Heather xxx
Got pregnant with IUI triplets in March 04. One triplet stopped growing at 9 weeks. Gave birth to twin boys in Sep 04, Ciaran sadly lost his fight. Brennan's thriving.Looking to give Brennan a sibling soon.

Hi Heather

Try and take it easy AF seems to show up late after a cycle of IVF in most cases.
Do a PG test just so you can stop thinking about it and then talk to your DR if you feel worried.
My Dr had to give me some drugs to bring my AF on after I got to about a 70 day cycle as I wanted to start my next attempt at IVF.
Best of luck this year I start my 6th attempt at the end of January.

Lucyx
Hi Heather

After my m/c Aunt Flo took 6 1/2 weeks to show up (I'm normally 30 days). Your body will take a while to get back to normal.

Like the others say, only a pg test will either rule that out or make your day!

Good luck & take care,

Luv Rachel X
