Cramps

Hey Girls
Can anyone tell me if its normal to get cramps a week after the ET? My left side started aching last night and its not gone away this morning. Am also feeling grumpy and tearful and have a horrible feeling the evil AF is gonna rear its ugly head!! Can anyone calm my nerves?

I am sure that it is as unique as everyone who has IVF.
to rest your mind... my wife had cramps for 4 days and then tested positive. we are awaiting the 5 week scan.

Hello Cally,
I've had af type pains off and on all the way through this 2ww. they have never lasted very long but they have made me worry, but as you may have read on some of the other threads I've had a BFP with a hpt today - so you never know. I've chosen to take it easy during this 2ww but others just carry on with life as usual. You just need to do what's right for you. Try not to fret too much (easier said than done I know) but relax and hopefully the end of the 2ww will give you the result you want.

Hi Cally

I had AF type pains from the day before my +ve test. If you have cramps on one side it may also be caused by your ovaries settling down. Mine were still enlarged from the drugs by my 6.5 week scan.
