Hi all

Ange- was thinking of you. How did it go. If i get to ET test date will 7th Sept so looks like there will be you, chitra and myself all testing together.

Chitra hope you have recovered from EC yesterday.

Gail Hope you are feeling a little better today.

Quasi- Good luck on your 2WW it will soon pass by.

A special "how you doing girls" to Jen, Jag, Staci, Smita, Little P and last but not least Debbie.

Had EC today they collected 13 eggs!!!But.. i'm not getting to excited yet will know tomorrow am if any have fertilised. Feeling a bit sore but otherwise great. Clinic all apologetic over not being able to contact them the weekend. Felt loads better yesterday than Saturday.

Good to know that they collected 13 eggs. I know what u mean by not getting excited, it is tough cause we immediately have another thing to worry about!!!

Let me know how many fertilized and ur transfer date. I wish u a BFP.

As for me , I am still feeling sore but it is not bad. also spotting light. waiting for wednesday.

Hi all

Clinic called this morning to tell us we have three embies. Some of my eggs were of poor quality but we had expected this. More would have been nice but, we are pleased considering this time last year we were told that i probably wouldn't even get to this stage. ET is on Thursday 1200.

Hi all

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement.

I had quite a bad time yesterday and just slept when I got home.
And today I didnt turn the PC on till after midday (which for me is quite unusual, it normally gets swiched on the moment my eyes are open when I am at home)

They retrieved 14 yesterday but the quality was not that good. I was told this morning they tried 6 by IVF and 8 by ICSI. We managed 3 embies.
ET scheduled for Wednesday morning.

Clair - well done for your 3 embies and good luck for Thursday!

Chitra - Congrats on your 5 embies Good luck for Wednesday!

I also know what you mean about getting hopes up. I am trying not to think about stuff too much

Sorry you had a rough time but glad you have got three embies...it could be our lucky number. We have made it this far !

Clair and Ange.. yayyy for your three beautiful embies. Just two more days, then they’ll be in you, where they belong. 

And Chitra, best of luck for your transfer tomorrow. And make sure you rest plenty when u come home… we’re all rooting for u.

Sand, my test date is the 29th. There I’ve said it!! I have been trying so hard not to think abt the test date and testing. Being back at work helps altho two of my colleagues in my dept are preggers so I try not to look at them. lol

Hey, I have a question… does anyone know if foot reflexology has any adverse effects on implantation? Bcoz I’d read on one of the threads that massages and facials are a no-no. I had to get a foot reflexology for work today and after she was done, she gave my shoulders a vigorous massage and thumped it to high heaven. Just praying it doesn’t affect anything.

Quasi - Nice to know that u test on 29th, less than a week left. Good luck to you! Sorry I cant help u with ur question on Foot reflexology, I have no idea.

Does anybody have any idea about the weekly estrogen patch? I have been asked by my re to take it from today. I guess it is because of my low estrogen level!!! I would really appreciate any input.

Hi Quasi,

I had quite a lot of reflexology when my Endo was incorrectly diagnosed as IBS. It is wonderfull - but my lovely reflexologist said nicely that she will not come near me for the first trimester as reflexology flushes your body of toxins - it can think that the tiny embie is a foreign body - so I'd avoid it any more just to be super cautious.

When I've been trying naturally I only used to go once AF showed up to soothe my PMS and would avoid is there was any chance of a BFP -

BUT good news is that reflexology is excellent in the later stages and throughout labour pains - so just save up!
