Hi There,
I had my first IVF (via donor egg) on August 7th with a negative result. I unfortunately only had one good embie for transfer however we transferred "what we had" and did three embies all at once (from a 26 year old donor). My doctor performed ICSI as well as assisted hatching. The AH is, in my opinion, the way to go because it helps the shell break away for the embie to stick. It all depends on the expertise of your clinic as it can be a "deal breaker" should they harm the delicate embryo. In addition, if you are over 30 it may also be preferable to do AH as the outer shell starts to become a little harder to break.
Hi there - Welcome to the Site. I see you've posted a little about your history on the IVF forum. As you can see from my signature, I've done 2 fresh + 1 frozen cycle - no luck so far !
Hope you find this Site supportive.
