Good morning ladies :D

How's everyone doing? AJ, I wouldn't worry to much about the needles. It seems like everyone in here is ok with them, they're only a few "special" people  like myself.

Debra, dh is a pom actually, but he moved to Aus 26 years ago so you could say he's almost an aussie  How are you doing? getting excited to start sniffing soon?

Sue, glad to hear your ok and things are progressing. Don't forget to get some relaxing in there somewhere!!

Coleen, thanks for the wishes for my job. I started yesterday and told them my daughter had a hospital appointment next week but I wasn't sure what day yet  Hopefully it all works out! How are you doing?

Hi Tilly, how you going with your meds? Sorry bout the news about the baths, maybe you could still enjoy them, but just make sure they aren't to hot?

Hey Lisa, yes, this is my first round and my dh who was doing them initially wasn't doing them properly, "not his fault" he really was trying and felt so bad each time he did it. Anyways, the only reason i'm having such a hard time is because i'm a big wimp  but that's ok, i could be worse.

Hope everyone is it great! Glad to hear your almost ready to start Camilla, good luck to you!

Have a good day girls and i'll talk to you soon. I find out what my blood levels are today. I'll let you know.

hi there girls.... good question, Lisamarie, about the september ladies name.... i'm not good at creativity...i'm more the analytical type any ideas???

AJ- i'm also taking metformin... 800mg 2x a day.... i do have to say, that it took a while to get past the side effects, but they say that it gives a better chance.... so stick with it

Hi Buddies,

Paula I am so sorry. Don't give up hope yet but if it isn't to be this time then keep up the PMA for next time!!

Thanks for all the replies to the metformin questions, it is all new to me and I am so excited/scared!! :?

Counting down the days for scan. Dread to think what I will be like after EC worrying about embies and then during the 2ww!!

Oh well, read an interesting newspaper article this morning that adi it has now been scientifically proven that stress does not affect the outcome of IVF tmt. Well that is good news! As I am sure most of us are stressed during tmt!

As for a name I too am not at all creative so the best I could come up with was Sept-embies!!

I warned you I wasn't good at that!!

PMA everyone,

Hi 'Sept-embies',

How are you all doing.

Lisa@BellaSales - just to let you know that I am currently undergoing a course of acupuncture. I have had 7 sessions (the last one being this evening). I find them very relaxing. I had never had acupuncture before and was a little worried about it. It doesn't hurt at all, you just feel a little prick when the needles first go in. I have read so much about acupuncture and IVF - Zita West says it is a must. I think the more you can do to increase your chances of a successful cycle the better. It may sound silly but I do a little chant in my head during my sessions telling myself that the drugs are working and I will have a successful cycle.
My acupuncturist is brilliant - he even gave me a back massage this evening to warm my ovaries. Hope this helps!

5 days to go until my next scan - I can not wait. I just hope the menopur injections have done their job.

Keep smiling everyone!

Tilly

Hi. Am new to this site, and have been really encouraged to read about other Sept-embies - you inspired me to join!

We learnt of our infertility in May 2005, and the last few months have been anxious and disorientating. Finally, though, I began today with sniffing. And so, if all goes well, hope to have EC in mid September. Am dreading the needles! Should I be doing accupuncture - I have been doing reflexology.

Best of luck to all of you Sept-embies! PMA and baby dust your way.

My advice would be to stay relaxed, be happy and treat yourself well.
