I live in San Diego. My thought are with you! Is this your first IVF? Did you do day 3 or 5 transfer?.....I admire your positive outlook!!!!!

No,,, My first IVF was in June- four embies were implanted- If I remember correctly, I had my retrival on a Wed and the implantation was on that Saturday. I had "mild" OHSS- when they give you 70 percocets, I don't consider that mild. Anyway. I had gained 10 lbs in one week. I didnot have to have to have my abdomen drained or anything....Not a fun experience. IT SUCKED when I found out I wasn't pregnant. My sis in law did IVF last year and on the first try it worked and she has a baby girl. So that has been a little difficult. My hubby had to have a Meeting of the Minds with his mom in the fall of last year because she would call me up and tell me all about baby furniture shopping and stuff.. Not that I was jelous of her baby.. I was jelous of the fact that I will not have that experience with my mom- My mom is 78 and is on O2 24 hours a day. Anyway.... It has been difficult. We met our neice last month- they live in NJ- everyone thinks that I am misprouncing her name on purpose, I am not... Her name is Brianna. In the good ole' south. Anna is said like ant or apple.... That is what I am use to..They prounouce it like ONNA- this is a learned relfex that I am trying to unlearn. When I tried to explain it to my mother in law, I said the above and my mom in law said that saying her name is like pouring salt on a wound.. I repeated my self about the southern thing.
My FET was 17 Aug four embies were used. I'm just sitting waiting around for yeah or ney.

dear Want2BAMommy,
we are supposed to test together on monday so hang in there, girl. Easier said than done, but we just gotta sit tight until all the hcg is outta our system.

I started feeling some af twinges yest and i'm sure my boobs have grown at keast 2 sizes bigger. They are so damn sore!!

just 4 more days to go. lots of PMA to you. I keep telling myself the same thing.

Well, looks like the 3 of us are testing together! WOW! We'll suffer the next 6 days together!!!!!! Thank you for all your support and I am sending positive energy and baby dust your way!!!!! Please do the same for me.......I can't shake my down mood.

just negative feelings ya know? You all seem so positive How the heck are you making it through????

5 more days for me on this side of the world.

I've been keeping really busy actually so my attention is forced elsewhere. I can't truthfully say i'm calm all the time tho.. usually when i see dh in the evenings, all my worries pour out. It is just as nerve wrecking for me.

How do you pass your day?

WOW! I'm w/ Dr. Hummel, but Dr. Kettle did my frozen embryo transfer on the 3rd cuz Dr. Hummel was out of town. And wala! I am 5 weeks preggie! Don't you love them there? My ultrasound is on September 6th. Did you do the satisfaction guarantee plan? I have so much confidence in SDFC. I believe in my heart of hearts that you will get preggies!!!

This is my 1st cycle...i did 3 iui's. I was accepted into the guarantee program but could not afford it so..............im keeping my fingers crossed. they transfered 3 day five blasocyst with assisted hatching. I test on monday but i think i'll get my period before then. I also took an early hpt this weekend and tuesday and neg...im soooo bummed. Im happy for you. what try # was it?

I opted not to do the guarantee either! This was my 2nd IVF cycle. The first time we transferred 2 embryos on a 3 day transfer. One 9-cell and 1 eight cell. Fair to good quality. It failed.

Then on Aug. 3rd, we transferred the 3 remainig embies that were frozen w/ assisted hatching. I thank God they survived the thaw.
On Aug. 16th, Chris called and announced i was pregnant. They look for a beta level between 50-100. Mine was 75. Then they retest every 48 hours. They would like to see it double, but it has to increase by at least 66%. Mine increased 2 days later by exactly 66%. Then they retested 4 days later and my level went up to 696. It is still nerve-wracking because I won't retest anymore until my u/s on the 6th of Sep. They said if I wanted to, for peace of mind, I could go in next week. But speaking to Kerry & Ceci (the nurses) they didn't suggest it.
So...I felt slightly crampy this time around. The first attempt I cramped a lot! And I also had brown discharge nine-days post transfer this time.
So, even though u feel AF symptoms, I think this is normal.
I know the wait is agonizing, but you will get through it. Do you have any embies left over?
I do believe you tested way too early!

i have 7 frozen blastocyst.........I am soooooooo nervous i just can't take it anymore! I also would bet a million i am going to get my period.........this sucksssssssssssssss..

i just wanted to tell you that HPT only test levels that are 50 and above... and the clinics usually look for 50-100 on day 10.... so the HPT that you took really could not pick up anything.... usually they only can the day or two before your real test date... and sometimes not until your actual test date.... so keep you hopes up!!!!! and think PMA..........

Believe me, I had to go through 2 2 ww, so I know how you feel! But you just gotta hang in there! It does suck, but just keep your faith!
I feel good. Still anxious for the u/s, but like a lot of the women on this site. It is hard to stop worrying! For instance, my bb's stopped hurting, so I called the nurse. She said not to worry! That this is normal. At your stage the first time I was a mess! I was very moody and argued with my DH. I stressed out a lot. The second time around, I relaxed a lot more. I also tried to keep really busy. I didn't really go nuts until the day of.
So, although I know you're going to worry, try to relax! I also have acupuncture done. it really helps. She does a session before and after the transfer too.
And you have 7 other embies left! That's good!!!
