Hello,
bigJ, Smita, Nicki, elleR, ogr1 ands all the other Donor Buddies.

ogr1 are you adopting??? Did I read the post correctly????

Nicki, how are you??? I just know you will become a Mommy...at your age ..hopefully two or three times over    Lots of nice baby years still to come for you...

Smita how are you and baby??? I bet you have the cutest bump
Did you get my posting about the transfer??? Oct. 7, is the date.

elleR: I read big j's post you...how are you??? I also went to see a therepist(spelling). I was so sad, angry and crying all the time (after my M/C) not sure if it helped but my insurance paid for it. I stopped after the 3rd visit. this board seemed to do the most good for my attitude.
bigJ...just thrilled you are back. Maybe we will cycle together...I am on b/c pills now and begin u/s on the 16th of Sept. for a Oct.7 th transfer.

***There are only 2 embies so I was warned that on the day of the transfer it could be canceled...and then in the same conversation the nurse told me that chances are good because the mother became preg. twice with this batch. The nurse gave me the picture of the siblings for good luck. I do feel that these eggs are healthy so if I can just concieve... The mother was 32 (10 years younger than me) when these eggs were collected. I'm praying hard

I'm still at my grandmother's for 9 more days. I come to the public library to use the computer..I'm having fun but I miss my home computer.

Hello my donor buddies!

I missed y'all!!!
Just had my hysteroscopy done earlier today. It wasn't too bad after all. My RE did it himself and said that everything looked good. My fibroid is still there and wouldn't get in the way if I were to get pregnant. My ovaries were a good size with 11 resting eggs on each side. He wanted me to get an HSG too since we wanted to do donor IUI again.

Hi Big J, Katie, we might actually become cycle buddies...we're planning on DIUI #2 around that time too. I am coping so far without a psychologist hehehe... all of you here on this mb, help me a whole lot! Still have crying episodes when DH is not around though.

Nicki, Hope you are hanging in there. are you planning on going the IVF/ICSI route this year?

Becky, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Smita, how are you & your baby doin'?

'will catch y'all later!

Hi Smita.
How are you feeling hon?
I am doing pretty good. Freaking out every once in a while because my symptoms aren't there. All I have is the sore boobies and more sleepy than I usually am. But everything I read says that this is ok because it's so early in the pregnancy and most woman who concieve natuarlly don't even know they are pregnant yet.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Love
Joy

becky I dont know why not ivf..... I dont really know. iui is cheaper and not so invasive, maybe i dont feel ready yet. I am so confused.....
Give me time, I will think hard about it all.

katie, you are using a donated embryo? Is that what you mean? But are you doing one go of iui with donor sperm first?
The embryo, how does that work, will you just have ET then?

ElleR, when r u going again?

for us being on the list at our clinic for donated embies

is frozen. so it is some one elses eggs and sperm..

they do a fet .. normly you have paid for a year of the clinic to store them and after that year you have to pay more and our clinic only stores them for a year. then you have to move them.

i know that we had signed a paper that after 9 months and we where holding our baby that we would donate any embies that we had had left.

but we didnt have any left.

i hope this answers your question.

i would think that you could even do a fresh donated embie..

how is ivf different from iui?

and howdy to everyone :)
