Cramps 10 days after ET

Post by spongebob »

Hello,

We had ET 10 days ago (Fri 19th Aug) but today my wife is suffering from stomach cramps, she has been a bit moody this weekend and a little upset. Is this normal? were not sure if its Af coming, or something else? The cramps have been for a couple of nights now but were not sure if its anything to do with the EC, could be positive or AF. What happens to the follicles a week after the EC? Do they start to fill up, do they shrink? Do they give you cramps? We wernt told about this bit.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated as shes starting to get really worried which is the last thing I want her to be doing at the moment.

Ive read on these boards that cramps and some spotting can even be shown for someone that will have a positive test. God what a minefield, sorry for blabing on.

Thanks.

Bob.

please be patience. thats my advice, dont read into the signs it's hell when you start doing that. when is test date?

good Luck to you both x x

Reading into feelings will make you nuts.
The only thing I can say is wait to do the test. Otherwise you will lost your mind.
Good luck.

bob,
some women have cramps before AF and some before BFP.. i had cramps all thorough the 2ww starting a few days after ET and for long afterwards as well.. Had spotting right on the day my perod was due, and 2 days afterwards- thought it was all over, but here I am still! :)
Like Nicki and Joy say, dont read the signs(though impossible not to!)
Just add yourselves to the testers list set up by sand, and we'll cheer you on! :D
Wishing you lots of Patience,Luck and babydust!
cheers,
smita

Hi there, I had what I termed AF-type feelings and cramps all through my last 2ww, but bingo it was a +ve. The follicles are disolving I would think and the ovaries shrinking which often causes pain. The emotional thing is only too understandable, the meds, the expectations, the waiting, waiting, waiting.....she's not got long to wait now.

best of luck
Debra.
