Ok..... Just found out that for the moment, we are pregnant.... However happy we are... my butt and the toilet seat have become like best friends.... It seems like everything I put in... comes out about 30-45 min later - Just like the Vin Disel Movie... The Fast and Furious. I asked the clinic about what I might could do besides drink gatorade and buy more toilet paper....They haven't called back yet.........

It doesn't matter what I eat..soup or drink milk. Bye Bye.

Any advice on this- This isn't as easy as puking... Drinking gingerale... sucking on peppermint...

Hi there, you might try:

*plain, dry bread /toast
*plain boiled rice
*banana

all of which are famous for clogging up your insides. Oh and sip plenty of water as you'll risk dehydration soon if it's really bad.

Congratulations on your BFP! Your e-mail made me giggle. I did not have this issue, but your body can do some strange things. The important thing is to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest during your 1st trimester.

Hi, I had this at one point and was told to avoid milk under all circumstances and to drink flat coke. Its disgusting but it works. Dont eat for one day, just drink then on the next day just have light meals like toast made from white bread. If your on the progestorone pessaries thay can cause this

I would add apple sauce to the list below--it's also binding. Oh yeah and no milk but plain yogurt (yum) can help.

iv been suffering from the trots since my e/t
iv had them most days and like u can say it doesnt matter wot i eat...mine comes on mostly at night anytime from 9pm onwards...it starts with terrible cramps that i think sometimes is this wot its like to give birth???
i did tell my gp and she said its because of all the changes going on but she would keep a eye on it and just gave me some cream for my sore !!!!!!****!!!!!!!
iv also had a lot of bleeding which again may be the start of piles she said.
iv not had a bout of the trots since sat (now tues) but feel constpated now... so i cant win really
just mention it to ur doctor to be on the safe side and drink plenty of water sos not to get dehydrated

Wow!!!

Wish I read this before I left work . I could have stopped at the grocery store on the way home... We have No bread in this house- no banannas, no applesauce and Holy Crap no coke.

Suzi.... did you drink regular coke with caffine in it? Or decaff?
Jacky! wow... mine is the opposite.. I start right when I wake up and don't stop until LATE afternoon.....On my way to work today I had to make a pit stop at mom's... good thing she lives 6 miles away.... Just had to hold the rest for 20 min after that!!!!! I know a lot of English slang ( my brother in law is English...) However I don't know what PILES are..... Could guess since you used the word bleeding....I hope you are goona be ok.

Do ya'll have a special book because more than one person.. Bettyand Debra P said the same thing.... Wow.....

The clinic finally did call me back and tell me I could take Immodium AD or Keopectate (sp?) I haven't since I haven't had the pleasure of reaquainting myself with my potty tonight.

How do I join you on the first trimester thing?

Can't help you on the diahorrea..its a side effect of progesterone as susie says..
Just look for the 1st trimester thread and start posting!
Have you had your bloodwork done yet for your HCG levels?
