Back but only have a min. Results where bad for me today ladies. Follicles haven't grown a bit. Lost 3 of them. They took my blood today to see estrogen level, if its not over 40 i'm cancelled for this round.

Sue e - Sorry that you are still DR. I have been told that I will be DR for a lot longer than normal too so you have my sympathy but at least we are that little bit closer to a BFP

Debra - Love the zero tolerance comment. That sums me up beautifully sometimes!! Hope DF doesn't mind too much and hope you are OK

As for me. I am having a good few days. Not sure why because the metformin tablets are making me sick!! However, I have accepted that SIL is pg now and moved on. This was lucky as when I saw her she was saying she hoped it wasn't twins as she would hate that and would give one away!! I am half-certain she was only joking but making a joke like that in front of me is a bit insensitive. Luckily I was feeling OK about everything and coped without any problems.

Anyway, looking forward to my scan tomorrow which will show if I am ready to start DR I hope so but if not tomorrow I am sure I will start DR in the next few days. I am also nervous as after the scan me and DH are going for the injection teach! I hope I remember everything!

Paula - sorry to hear that things did not go as you had hoped, but keeping fingers crossed for better news. Thinking of you and hoping...

Tilly - Good luck with your scan on Thurs.

Sue - I am also back at school on Monday and had been trying to get my cycle done in school hols. No luck either - couldn't start down reg until last week, so will have to try to juggle things...Hope you can move to next phase soon.

AJ - thanks for sympathy, I appreciate it!

Hi Girls,

I'm no longer a september buddy. Thank you for all your kind words and support. I really do appreciate it. My tmt was cancelled today. Blood work came back with estrogen level of less than 70. I still don't understand how I could have all these follicles and no estrogen?

I wish you all the best of health and good wishes for all your tmt's this month. I hope and pray for each and everyone here that all they're dreams come true this month. I'm off for a couple days now. I'll be back though to cheer you guys on.

So sorry things didn't work out, Paula. We'll miss having you as a Septembie Good luck with the next step.

My scan went well yesterday Have approximately 11 follicles that were maturing well and my hormone levels were all really good. My doctor said that this is a much better looking cycle than last time...whatever that means

I am off to see the acupuncturist over lunch so I gotta go. Asked my doctor about acu and she said go for! So, I am doing just that...can't hurt, right?

Well I am just about to start my short protocol this weekend, still waiting for AF it should arrive Saturday so I will start injecting Sunday. It looks like I will be testing (if we get that far PMA) end of September. The only thing I am worrying about at the moment is my FSH level was 12 and that's why they've put me on the short protocol, I just hope my eggs are going to be good enough

I am sooo excited and can't wait to get going!.... I will send an update through next week and I have updated my details below - Good luck Septembies

Well hello everyone!

I had my scan today to see if I was ready to start DR. At first I thought that they would say not yet as I have long cycles however they decided that thay would give me progesterone pills to bring on AF and I start DR immediately!

I did my first injection today and it wasn't as bad as I expected However, to make sure I have completely cleared out we do not start stims until cd12. This means that EC is approx. 10th October so it looks like I am on both months' threads!

Hiya girls,

Haven't been on site for a while as in-laws have been staying for a few days.

Gutted for you Paula, but hope you come back stronger than ever.

Went for our first appointment last Tuesday and all went well. We can start tmt as soon as we want, but they would prefer it if I lost 1/2 stone first. Oh dear!! I am trying, but not going to phone them until I've done so, so maybe it will be an Oct/Nov start for us, either that or I'll just not eat for a week or two! Why are they funny with weight? Does it really make that much of a difference? I'm 14 stone dead and apparantly 13 1/2 stone is there cut off point. Has anyone else out there had the same experience? At least this is an excellent reason to diet. I got first lot of drugs home with me for when we're ready, but didn't get nasal spray, just bloody injections with more injections to follow. What fun!! Doctor told me to practice on an orange, how does she know my thighs look like that? Ha! Ha!

Hope everyone is getting on well with their tmt and all is going to plan. I'll keep popping in and let you all know when I'm a slim super model.
