Wishing you luck for your scan tomorrow!
These boards are addictive,plus a God-send as I'm at wits end as to what to do here- at my mom's place, so no housework- have to beg her to let me do something..and miss dh terribly(he's in bahrain- the middle east- I'm here for tmt)
Plan to join some painting classes to help me not to think of what all can befall my baby- as my current worry is the water around the baby is reduced apparently!!

Pootle and AJ, fellow F1 fans, how're you doing?
I'm a schumie groupie-was initiated into F1 By dh who's a hardcore addict!Plus since F1 was in Bahrain from last year, thought I better brush up!! Am converting to becoming an Alonso fan..(hard to change though- miss the fire in Michael now)Like Montoya as well!

Hi smita,

thanks for the good luck wishes. Dont worry about the fluid disappearing from around the baby, i believe it can fill back up. My sisters waters went and when she went back into hospital, they checked and the waters had filled back up. It was a several more months before she went into labour and had my cute nephew, who is fine and dandy. Enjoy the rest after all in a few months you wont get any!!!

Hi Jay

Welcome to Sept-embies. I am doing my first IVF/ICSI, too. I started 10 days ago with the nasal spray and am due to go for scan and blood test on Friday. Hopefully, after that, we'll be ready to start stims.

I have also been pretty freaked out with all the drugs, but so far no real side effects, apart from the odd headache maybe.

Have not tried accupuncture, but have tried reflexology. My therapist said not to do treatment during stims - can you still do acupuncture then?

Hope everyone else is well. Lots of baby dust!!!

Hi there....any changes to this? newbies? new dates? scans? I saw that BigJ is probably moving to October so have changed the list a little, anything else? just cut and paste and make your amends, no one owns the list....

AJ I KNEW YOU WOULD LOVE WHAT I DID WITH THE PAGE THAT WAS FOR YOU.
WENT FOR MY SCAN TODAY AND ALL IS WELL. THERE ARE LOTS OF LITTLE FOLLIES BUT BEING THAT I AM ONLY ON THE STIMS 3 DAYS THEY WERE NOT MATURE ENOUGH TO MEASURE SO I HAVE TO GO BACK ON WEDNESDAY. I ASKED THE NURSE AND SHE SAID I WAS RIGHT WHERE I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SO DONT WORRY AND MY ESTROGEN WENT UP NICELY.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW MANY DAYS BEFORE THEY HAD FOLLIES?
SO GLAD YOU ARE ALL DOING WELL.
LET YOU KNOW ABOUT WEDNESDAY. KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED FOR ME.........

Can't really help Lisa, my clinic only does one scan at about day 10 of stims which is when you would expect there to be lots of follies. Sounds good that there are already plenty there though!

Debra, I start sniffing on 24/9 and stimming on 25/9....not sure if I belong here or in October!

There appears to be tonnes of us about at the moment which is fantastic.

Heather, up to you, I guess you'll feel more like an October chick as that's when the doing will start. So, when's the BIG day then? you can join our exclusive age club, we're very, very nice!

Morning' everyone. I just had the most terrible screaming fit at DF over a totally unimportant diary clash - he just laughed and laughed.......
off to the DIY shop for huge mdf panels and paint, I hope there are no scenes there...

Hi there...... would you adam and eve it, I am still waiting for AF to arrive, now on day 27 and I'm normally around day 24. All the signs are there but nothing showing, I just want to get started because I can't wait

Thanks Debra, the only good thing about turning 39+1 is that I qualify for the 40+ thread!! I wont make the grade until October 12....but I can't wait to join you all over there.

Kyla, I am willing your AF to arrive as I type....why is the hag only ever late when you want her to visit? I too have been inspired by the Healthy Bodies Healthy Minds crew. I have started my CSIRO Total Health and Wellbeing Diet....it is a back to basics eating plan that just gives you a reminder about what you should be eating.

Kyla -I am waiting for the old hag to show up as well...I thought for sure she would be here on the weekend and still no signs...being ever hopeful I did an hpt this morning..of course starck white...if she is a couple of days late it is actually better. Now DH will be in the US when EC should be happening (according to my own schedule) so now with a couple of days late he will be back in town

Has anyone heard about taking extra protein (particularly whey powder) to help with egg quality?

In regards to being healthy...well I had a major breakdown today - optimistically it was a compromise. I was really craving cupcakes (which I haven't had sugar in a VERY long time)..so I made carrot cake instead..geez very yummy! I needed it! The house smells really good inside!

Heather - looks like we DR around the same time..but you will be ahead with the EC. Just keep chanting '3rd time is a charm". I keep trying to think positive and reciting to myself 'I will get pregnant on the next IVF.'

Smita, AJ, I don't follow anyone in particular now - was a die hard Johnny Herbert Fan - Do you go to any of the races? I have been to Spa and
Monza.

I am feeling a little dizzy on the gonal f injections - for anyone having to inject themselves - a word of comfort, I was dreading it but it does not hurt at all it is purely trying to get your head around doing it that is the difficult bit..
I do it in my stomach.
