IVF After Sterilization

Hi i was sterilized just over 2yrs ago whilst being in a bad marriage but am now getting married again so were now wanting a baby and i was wondering if anyone knows can you have IVF after sterilization and the hospital have also found out that i have a very small Fibriod,i hope someone can help me i feel so sad right know about it all,on top of that i really dont know where to start with seeking IVF or the cost Plz help AngelBabe

Hello Angelbabe I am in the same boat i asked the same question yesterday and was told there should be no problem. someone mailed me who was sterilised 6yrs ago and is udergoing treatment at a cost of £2500. I am getting in touch with a fertility clinic to see if i can start. I too am desperate for another child with a new partner as i was tricked into sterilisation from my first husband who left me three weeks after i had it done, but there is hope for us. hope everything goes to plan for you and think positive.Good luck see ya Chrissy

Hello Angelbabe (and Chrissy) I have been steralised and am having IVF (have actually got pregnant too but sadly on 3rd December the scan showed no fetal heartbeat, but it does show that it can work - it was only our second attempt too). I am with Mr Goswamy at the Harley Street Fertility Centre and the cost of a full cycle is approx £3000 including drugs - on our second attempt (the successful one) we paid £850 as we had some frozen embryos left from the first attempt.
