Hi Fi,

Was thinking about you too the other day - how did your trip to New York go? Bet you were all organised and got all your Christmas presents there.

We've not been to see the horse since before the 'saga' started - luckily someone else is riding him. Not sure when we'll go again as we've started the TaeKwon-Do training on Sundays. Les managed to grade whilst I wasn't able to (he's now yellow tag) and so I'm determined to show I can double grade at the end of Feb to catch him up - so got to do a couple of months intensive training. Banking on it helping me to lose some weight too.

So the grading, having a couple of normal af cycles (and of course the money saving), will dictate when I will cycle again but I'm guessing if everything goes to plan I'll ring for treatment mid Feb, start down-regging early Mar but then won't have ec/et until near the end of Mar/beginning of April so I may be a bit behind you - unless I get put on the short cycle being such a poor responder. My appointment for the Dr is 10 Feb so won't know until then.

Have really enjoyed Christmas - had to work a bit (at work now, but spent the morning up to now answering site postings - heehee) but so did Les, so its not too bad.

How's your acupuncture research going? Love my acupuncturist to bits, she's so supportive and enthusiastic about helping me, it's helped me a lot. Feeling both physically and emotionally pretty well healed - which is not bad in the short time its been.

When I know what TKD training weeknights I have (they're a bit disorganised at the moment and keep changing their minds!) I'll try to make the chat room for the other nights so hopefully we can chat soon. Hope you had a lovely Christmas, and will enjoy any New Year celebrations you're having.

Here's to 2003!

Lots of Love

Fiona xxxx

Hi Fi and Fiona, Sorry to butt in but just wanted to say hello! I was inspired by you Fiona and your decision to go down the acupuntcure route. It wasn't something I'd previously considered but you sound like a sensible person (usually!). Anyway, have now been taking the herbs for a week - I too get licquorice flavour pills - and had my first accupuncture session this evening which didn't hurt at all, and was actually quite pleasant. Only downside is I've come back smelling like I've been smoking dope - but there are worse things!

Anyway, Friday night I'm off to France for a week's skiing, then have next appt on 20 January. At the moment I think I'll have a couple more cycles before starting again, to allow the accupuncture etc. to take effect and also detox. a little after Christmas/New Year excesses. Which probably means down reg early March and e/c, e/t towards the end of the month. Would be lovely to be cycle buddies with you both.

Lots of love

Alison x

Hi you two,

Alison - its always lovely to hear from you, especially as it seems like we'll be cycling quite close - I was starting to get a teeny weeny bit jealous of everyone else and feeling a little left behind :). Glad you're pleased so far with the acupuncture - I like the feeling of 'doing something' towards next treatment even though not able to actually do it yet.

I've created a file for my acupuncturist which includes info from the clinic (I have duplicates of many) and copy and paste's of text from this and the old site. A couple of things I got together yesterday for my next visit were from a search on 'massage' on the old site (Wendy's recommendation on foot massage and JD's for the pituitary). Chinese medicine should include massage. Can you remember any other relevant advise from the old site? Have a lovely holiday and hope you feel refreshed and raring to go afterwards.

Fi - I will have every finger and toe crossed for your 2nd go and will be watching out for you posting your progress. I can feel the excitement already. 'Double black diamond skiing' sounds incredibly impressive even though I have no idea what it means!

The closest I've been to skiing is following my niece's (well Les's really) training - she's part of the British 'Skeleton' team (which to my mind means she should be certified - would you go head 1st with only a skimpy lycra suit, crash helmet and 'tray' to save you from the 'Louge' track?!?!?!) Watch out for her in the World Cup - her name is Donna.

I feel I've met so many wonderful, caring friends here, but those, like yourselves, I met on the old site I especially feel as though I've known for years, when in reality its only been just over 6 months. I definitely wouldn't be anywhere near as tough a cookie if it wasn't for you lot.

May our friendships last a lifetime. Take Care of yourselves and have a great New Year.

Lots of Love

Fiona xxx

Ha ha ha Fi, no offence taken.

I should hope none of us are. No, just meant that we'll stay friends after our need for this web site has passed - however that may be, but hopefully with children who could also become friends etc.....

Next time we chat, we must properly swap details. I have TKD training Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays eves, so those nights are out, and a new series of Buffy is on Thursday (sorry, showing how very sad I am now) so Les should finish work earlier. So Tuesday looks best for chat for me - how about you?

Incredibly busy at work at mo, so not much time to post - have you asked for treatment yet then, I've lost track a bit.

Good Luck and hope to speak soon (even true speak on the phone heh?)

Love Fiona xxx
