Hi Girls,

Do you mind if I but in here as well. I have already posted on the september thread but my tmt runs into October as well. This is my first IVF and I am already finding the ladies on here really comforting.

As for my dates I started DR today and due for EC approx. 10th Oct. I am DRing for longer than necessary for 2 reasons. First I have PCOS and they said it is good to have a longer DR to fully clear out! and second it is my big brothers wedding on the 7th Oct and I didn't want to miss it because of EC or ET. So because of this I am on a 2 month cycle (from start DR to HPT). Just making life more difficult for myself!

Hope to get to know you all soon :D ,

Hi AJ - Welcome! I am in the same boat...cross-over between Sept. and October. I will start DR around 28 Sept (most likely earlier) with EC approx. 3 weeks later.

Hi buddies,

Kat, nice to meet you. I read about your sperm problems :D If it helps in some of the books I read it says you have to test semen several times because men can have a perfectly good result one day and a not so good one another day. So it seems like it is perfectly normal and as you have never had a problem before I would try not to stress too much about it!

Lumi, we will start doing the AF tribal dance for you to bring it on. I know how irritating it is. You spend all your time hoping AF doesn't arrive and then when you want to start tmt it's late!! How ironic!

Tracii, looks like we will be doing things close together so keep me posted.

Everyone, hope it is going OK for you all. I am just checking in. Not much happening for me except I am just beginning to feel side effects from the Buserelin. I finally started feeling better from the metformin but last night I could not sleep because I was so hot even though it was cooler here than it had been in days. It was only this morning that I realised that was probably the suppresion kicking in!! I am also suffering some weird feeling on my face, it feels almost like a rash or sunburn (tight and tingly) yet I am not at all hot. DH says I am very red and is finding it very amusing!! I wonder if this is another symptom or am I just falling apart?? Anyone else feel this??

Anyway, got to go watch the formula 1,

Catch up later,

AJ

Hi Girls
Hope you are all doing ok. Thanks for asking about acupuncture Pauline. It went ok I am pleased to say. Doc was very nice, didn't hurt but did feel what I can only describe as a 'dull thud' when one of needles went in my lower abdomen, very strange. He gave me advice about diet and exercise(ie that i should actually do some!!' He also gave me some chinese herbs to take. Don't feel any different but will keep going weekly and I do have faith that it works cos of what I've read on here. Thanks for all your advice on subject.

Hi Ladies

Thought I would join in too! I start a flare cycle on 23 September with EC scheduled for 5 October.

Traci, you are doing a short cycle too? Is this because of the O issues? My clinic are trying this protocol for those reasons as it fits in a bit better with what my body seems determined to do...we will see what happens.

Leigh, that sounds like the cycle from hell!!!

Nicola, another Libran...we rock!! Are you planning something special for your big day?

Hope everyone is keeping happy and healthy. Lets make October a bumper month!

Cheers

I'm Libran too actually. I've always been pleased with this sign, makes me feel rather "balanced"!!

I feel so tired all the time... is that normal? :?
Have any of you had that also?

Not even three weeks to go before my ec, but I feel like i just want to sleep until then, never mind the injections!!!

Heather - You sneaked that one up on us ! A short protocol seems the best way to me. Lots and lots of luck for this time around - a nice, quick, positive cycle with no fuss !

Nes - I've been tired for about 10 years, so the Buserlin doesn't really make much difference !
