Having trouble fitting into your jeans?

I just remembered a trick I learned a while ago. If you can still get your tush into your jeans but can't quite close the button you can still wear them. Loop a rubber band (elastic band) through the button hole and hook the other end over the button.

Just thought I'd share.

Hi Beth

Thanks for sharing this! Im a bit big now to fit in 'normal' size bottom halves!! I know there are some things you can buy, which are like a stretchy bit of material to attach to jeans etc, so you dont have to fasten a button! Bit expensive though for a bit of material, so if your way works just as well its worth saving the pennies.
How are you doing with your pregnancy?

my tush wont fit into my jeans anymore!!with the elastic is a thought- will try that..but then the buttons bulge at the sides...

The elastic sounds like it might be more comfortable than the rubber band trick. I'll look for it. Since I'm only 81/2 weeks (and that's counting the two weeks BEFORE you're actually pregnant) I feel a little funny "showing." I'm still not sure if it's the swollen overies from the drug fest or the baby(s).

Thanks for asking K, all I can say is PRAISE THE LORD for the sea-sickness bands. They've saved my life. It's that mixed blessing sort of feeling--felling happy that I'm feeling lousy. With my miscarriage (8 weeks) I didn't feel sick at all so this is giving me a lot of hope.

The first scan showed 2 babies. Second scan is next week so I'll feel a lot more confident after that.

I'm only 7 weeks and 1 day and already can't get into my tightest jeans!!! People in work can already tell that I'm pregnant as I've got a definate bump. I'm going to need to make sure I don't put on too much weight!!!

Guess I may be able to wear my jeans for a couple more weeks if I use an elastic band.

Debbie I am the same as you.
My mom said that if she didn't know I was pregnant she would have known anyway.
I am almost 8 weeks and can't fit into too much anymore. Not big enough for maternity though just in limbo land.
