Hello, i'm Kerry i had my test on Weds 7th, which was negative, they asked me to retest Fri, and you will never guess it was only a BFP. I am shell shocked i have done three tests to be sure and it sure is positive, it was our 5th wedding anniversary on Friday as well which made it even more wonderful, i have got a scan on the 3rd of Oct which is my Birthday, good omens or what!
I had been feeling queasy all week but put it down to over active imagination and not eating breakfast, but i sure was wrong. I keep feeling sick after eating which i love. I am very conscience of every twinge ache or pain is that normal? My Mum and sisters all cried when i told them Friday and my DH has been a bit in denial because he is scared its not real and we are going to end up being heartbroken again but he seems to be gradually getting excited he cant wait for the scan as he said he will believe it more then, where as im on cloud nine my smile still hasn't faded. At last we have done it!!!! I am going to take it so easy over the next couple of months. I am sooooo excited.

Congratulations on your BFP!! What a wonderful anniversary present! I worried about every ache and twinge, which is completely normal! (You may find like me you get AF type pains- which is all to do with the uterus growing and stretching). Look after yourself and enjoy it!
I know its hard waiting for the scan, I found it harder than the 2ww, but if you join the first trimester thread there are girls going through the same, very supportive like the general forum.
Wishing you all the best for your pregnancy!
Love Kim.

Well done and many, many congratulations to you and DH.
Those aches and pains you described are totally normal - it is your body getting ready for all the big changes that are going to happen to your body over the next few months.
Take care of yourself and when you're ready join the First Trimester thread so you can share your feelings with others when you need to.
Kerry,
Congratulations! You must be overwhelmed on the great baby news and your wedding anniversary celebration last weekend. Well done, girl. Now enjoy the happiness. Wish you good luck for your first scan.
Congratulations Kerry - fantastic news - come and join us on first trimester friends.

Third ICSI July 2005 BFP and praying it continues!! 6, 8, 12, 13(Nuchal) 20, 25 and 28 week scans successful! Emily Ann Cane born 8.4.06 - more beautiful than we could have imagined
I too have recently had a BFP and last week had my first scan. DH was really concerned that things would go horribly wrong but when he saw the little heart beating last week he almost cried. Of course it is still early days but we're over the moon for now.
I too keep getting odd twinges - nothing serious and not for very long but as people have said this is perfectly normal (so the books say). I guess it is also perfectly normal to worry about everything (especially given what we've all been through to get here).
Just enjoy the moment and take care
Love
Debbie
