Sara

I have been on one baby aspirin a day from the start of the treatment and am still taking it.

I believe there are quite a few girls here who are taking it - it is supposed to help!!! :D

Good luck with it

I will be taking baby aspirin with my 2.round. I did some research after my -ive IVF and there are some doctors/clinics that believe low-dose aspirin helps with egg quality and thickening of the endo. I will start the aspirin with DRing and stop 2 days before EC. It definitely can't hurt...but don't self-medicate make sure to ask your clinic first. :D

I took baby aspirin (85mg) for 5 days over ET time and I'm sure it helped me - I stopped on Sunday after my Wed transfer as I was experiencing sharp abdominal pain (which turned out to be implantation). As has bveen said though - check with clinic because it might not work well with our particular circumstances and there are some important reasons why some women shouldn't take aspirin at all.
Good luck,

Hey Sara,

I was told the same exact thing by my doctor about asprin ... it helps prevention from miscarriage. I've been on baby asprin right when my treatment had started and have been asked to continue with it.

Lots-a-Luck

Hi. Sara.
I also heard that many hospitals recommend the baby aspirin to their patients. They usually start taking the day after the embrio transfer till 8th week of pregnancy. They said it helps the embrio to settle down in uterus and prevent the miscarriage.
However my doctor hasn't mentioned this to me yet. I'm doing my Egg retreval on Friday and I'm thinking to take this anyway.
Good luck.
