4 days - wow, bet you just can't wait now!!!

Thanks to Gavin and you I am feeling reassured - I guess because I'm a natural worrier I just have to find something to feel insecure about. Ah well, as long as Little One is alright then that's all that matters to me!!

Take care of yourself.

Esther - enjoy those flutterings, I bet that's a wonderful sensation - I can't wait to feel the first "moment".

Hope you are all doing ok.

Hi all!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend....

Smita, hope you are resting and I will keep you in my prayers...

To all the other ladies I hope you are all doing wonderful!!! I have found some calming ideas that I wanted to share....

I am still spotting but I am leaving it in Gods hands....The Dr's have instructed me about what to be concerned with so I am focusing on that...What I do in the meantime is I talk to my baby and tell him/her that I love them and that mommy is here and hope it is cozy in there for them...Also for my paranoid days, I rented a fetal doppler (I will probably rent it til I can feel the baby moving - by the way no rental agreement it is month to month) so I can try to find the babies heartbeat and that helps... :D :D I think it helps that I am still being seen quite often since my issue....I see the Dr this week (14 weeks tomorrow!!!) and they will be sending me for another ultrasound next week to check on the other bleed! Then my next appt is at 18 weeks...

On another note, my registery is done for now and I found some nursery furniture that I like, this was a nice distraction...I believe the baby hit a growth spurt this weekend as I was very tired!!! I love my bump and defenitely starting to look pregnant, can't wait to feel the baby start to move around in there...

Jessica

I know exactly where you're coming from - re feeling the baby move, I just can't wait for that to happen and share it with DH.

I have a lovely bump now and last night and today have had a couple more stretching feelings so hopefully that's a good positive sign and the bump will grow!!!

Feeling more energised at the moment - ever since my cold I seem to find that I have more energy - how about the rest of you.

Love and hugs

Little P,

I am looking forward to having more energy!! This past weekend I was wiped out so I think that means that the baby hit another growth spurt!!!! I am just happy to officially be 14 weeks today!!!!

I know what you mean - every week seems like another target achieved, in a nice way obviously :D

I am so looking forward to having a really large bump and feeling those first twinges of movement - in fact I can't wait for that to happen :D

Hi everyone

Getting really frustrated with my computer, its playing up. Think its my laptop though, not the website!

Esther - Excellant news on your scan! It's great that you are feeling the baby already at 16 weeks! My placenta is on the anterior (front) wall, so the midwife says I probably wont feel proper kicks until its much bigger. feeling what I presume is the baby though (either that or my insides are doing weird things!) it feels like something 'drops' in my abdomen every now and again - thats the only way I can describe it! Must be doing somersaults!

Little P and Jessica - Its great to have a bump isnt it? I love showing it off. (Also pointing out to people I am pregnant, just in case they assume I am just fat! It depends what clothes I am wearing how obvious it is!). Ive just got some maternity tracksuit bottoms today. I thought my normal ones would be ok for a bit longer, but they have got too uncomfortable to wear unless they are below my bump!

Smita - Hope you're resting lots! You must be getting excited now about DH coming home! I bet we wont see you on here all week then, will we??!

Minnow - Good luck with scan tommorrow! Look forward to your news!

Hope everyone else is ok! Look after yourselves.
Love kim

Don't throw your computer at the wall just yet - I have the site to be slow all day, I think there might be a blip somewhere!!!

I'm going to get another pair of tracksuit bottoms as they are so comfortable - they might not be the sexiest item of clothing but they are certainly one of the most comfortable

Smita

I hope that you are looking after yourself and resting well - afterall Friday is a BIG day for you and DH. Hope the next couple of days pass quickly for you.

Hope all you other ladies are doing ok.

Good luck with the scan girls.

Hi girls,
I'm fine..
Why is it that time passes by sooo slowly when you want it to rush and next week I'll want it to slow down, but the week'll be over before I know it!!

3 nights to go.. am getting impatient..

like Kim and P,I find this site is really slow today- I've done only 3 posts so far and yet been on this site for more than 40mins..

P, good to hear abt your cold being completely gone..

Kim your posts abt showing off are really cute and I can completely relate cause as i dont have that prominent a bump- its there, but..(boobs and tummy all in line almost!!), my aunt mentioned to me that i looked fat not pregnant!!
Now I try to jut my tummy out as i walk or rub it so ppl will know I'm pregnant!! Its growing though!!
Jessica, hope you're spotting stops soon..
Susie, how u be?
HM, are you knitting/stitching?
esther, take it easy at work..

I know you all have explained enough abt round ligament pain, and I even went to babycentre to look it up again, but it says to report to doc if it persists.. been feeling this ppull in my groin area since last evening..not pain as such- just uncomfortable..do you think I shd go to my clinic??

The site has been super slow for me to.

Smita,
My ligament pain had me doubled over in pain. I had myself convinced of the worst. If it happens, the doctor told me the worst of it could be at week 18. Mine lasted three days and then completely disappeared. If you are feeling inquisitive, ask your doctor but I would not be too worried about it. Some people are lucky to never have this.

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm looking forward to the fall and cooler weather soon.

Hi sher,
thanks..
Just popped in to see if there were any answers..My pain is more of a pull than a pain.. And its reduced since yesterday, so I shd be ok I guess..Keep worrying abt bizzare things like the amniotic fluid is draining into my groin which is why I'm having this pain :?
Anyway, so much for seeking new things to worry about!!

Have a great day girls..

Only 2 more sleeps Smita and DH will be with you - I bet you can't stop smiling now!!!

Hope you are all ok - the weather here has turned a bit grim which is such a shame after the promise of the beginning of the week.

Well,
Just had some upsetting news a while back..dh is not going to be able to come on friday- he can only come on monday now( and that too if the meeting goes off well..).. some unscheduled board meeting cropped up, which means he'll barely get 4 days with me.. I was so upset that I've told him not to bother coming.. I know its not his fault, but this is soo sad..I was so looking forward to it..
I also know all this sounds silly but, if he comes for 4 days, the first day he'll be jet-lagged by the flight and then I'll start crying each day cause he has to leave, I snapped at him that he needn't bother coming if he wasn't coming for a week and now I feel so bad for the poor guy too..
Such a mess!
:(
oh well! I've got you girls..

I'm so sorry about your news. I can totally understand your frustration and disappointment because you need him and miss him so much.

I know he'll be tired, but 4 days is better than nothing - remember he'll be as disappointed at not seeing you as well so will want to make those 4 days EXTRA special for the 3 of you!

Sending you loads of cyber hugs and love

Hi Smita

How annoying and upsetting for you about DH. But as little P says, you can still have 4 special days together. If he doesnt come at all he wont get to see your bump!
Hope your pains are subsiding. I get a similar thing every now and again, but as Sher says, it was worse around 18 weeks. It does feel more like a 'pulling' sensation. Mine tended to be on either side usually. Just wait until you can something 'alien' like squirming around in there, which is what ive started feeling since yesterday. Very strange! (But nice of course as well!).
Take care
Love Kim
