Just checking in on you septembies,

How's everyone doing?

Sue, glad to hear your not having any side effects. That's a bonus
Are you getting some rest yet? Oh ya, I was thinking! You should be wearing rubber boots in the house ok, and rubber gloves for when your opening tins of tuna. That is if its an electric can opener your using.

YaY Jay!! Af has finally arrived. Good for you! It won't be long now. Don't dread the stims, it's not so bad. Think positive, it's one step closer than you were before. It's all good, you take care. I"m thinking of you.

Debra, I left you a msg somewhere else? I forgot now  Oh ya, it must be in the over 40 thread

Tracii, glad to hear things are going good with you. Keeping my fingers crossed that you can start soon.

Colleen, glad to hear your feeling so good. That's a fantastic start to your tmt. Saturday is only one sleep away. Yippee for you! Hope this is the cycle for you!!

Well ladies, I think that's it for me tonight. Hope I haven't missed anyone. Sending you all loads of PMA, you can do it! Keep your chins up, your almost there! Take care everyone. Oh ya, and an extra special thought to all those little embies out there waiting to be transferred. Praying everyones embies are perfect and healthy and ready to go back where they belong.

Huggs to you all.

Paula - You are funny  did like the idea of rubber boots and gloves, but im ok we have a make shift kitchen in the living room so i dont have to limbo under the wires. Hope your still popping your pills, its getting nearer.

I am managing to get some rest whilst watching the soaps and although bed is covered in dust like everything else, at least i can get on it.

Jay - great news on your af arriving at least you can now start moving forward and the stimms are not bad at all, you will be fine

Crasmus - How did your bloods go? Is all still on for the 17th?
great to see your filled with loads of PMA for this cycle.

Debra - How did your blood test go? When do you get the results, is it tuesday? thinking of you and hoping your LH is kind to you.

Pootle - 9 thats fab news, well done i am made up for you. take it easy and looking forward to seeing that :D or maybe :D :D if thats what you want.

Dora - How is the rash? Hope your doing ok.

Lisamarie - Hope you are feeling better.

Tracii - How are things.

Anyone i have missed sorry but still wishing you all the best

Love

Hi everyone,

Have been away for 24 hours and there is so much news to catch up on!!

Pootle/Lisa - Well done on the embies. I hope that the transfer wen well and they are settling into their new home. :) Enjoy LOTS of rest now.

Paula - Not long to wait now...hope the blood levels are right for you to start soon.

Sue - Good luck for the scan on monday. Hope there are lots of follies.

Debra - Keeping fingers crossed for your bloods.

Crasmus - Hope things are all set to go for 17th.

Jay - Hope you can start stims soon too. It is my first go at IVF/ICSI and I was dreading stims too. Now on day 8 and not as bad as I feared. Have felt tired and full - I think that's the 3 litres of water I've been told to drink! Had 2nd scan today and follies growing well.

Good luck to everyone else too, sorry to those I've missed. Have a great weekend.

Take care

hi everyone

I had my ET yesterday and was quite surprised out of the 9 that fertilised only 2 were good enough to transfer so i do not have any to freeze. As everyone says you only need 2 good ones.. which is true and my two special embies are snuggled nice and warm in my tummy..

I am already bored and frustrated on this 2ww stuff.. I really do not think I will last.

I have noticed that most people wait for the docs/clinic to do the blood test - my clinic says just do a HPT and if I want a blood test it will cost me. Is this usual? I thought that a HPT was less reliable.

Wishing everyone good luck and will keep looking in on you guys over the next couple of weeks...

Pootle, lots of clinics rely on self-administered hpts. I suppose, as long as the timing is right, they're as good as a blood test. I think the only problem with them is the temptation to test early, which you'll not even think about, right??

Set yourself a task for the next 13 days. Sorting out all the kitchen cupboards, packing summer clothes away, re-order the book cases, sort the CD collection into alpha order...there's loads to do!

hugs and wishing your 2 embies settle down for the long haul quickly.

Debra.

pootle- good luck on the 2WW.....as for testing.... HPT's test well, as long as there is 50 or more parts of HCG in your pee..... i just think that the bloods just give an exact amount... good luck....and think, it's just 2 weeks in hopefully 40.don't feel bad about none to freeze, we have never had that opertunity.... and last time we had 41 eggs!!!

as for me.... the fun begins!!!! we start the stims today so we are looking at an EC on the 27th or 28th.... i'm so excited, and hoping that all goes well this time and we are not canceled.... again..

take care everyone...

Wow, I have missed out on a lot the past two days!

First, Thank you Judy and Tracii for making me feel normal and not negative!

Lisa, holy cow...41 eggs! That has to be a record breaker for many clinics...and 30 embies! You and dh are pretty incredible. Hope things are going well for you and you are feeling better.

Pootle, 2 beautiful embies, way to go...we will keep ourselves occupied on the 2ww thread I am sure!

Crasmus, so happy to hear that you are starting stims...well, not about sticking yourself, but about getting the ball rolling :) Good luck with the meds.

Everyone else take care!

Hi to everyone,

Hope you are all having a good day. Just thought I'd leave a quick message to say that stims seem to be working and that I will probably be given the trigger (hcG ?) injection tomorrow or at the latest Tues. Our clinic like to look at bloods first before deciding, so I have blood test tomorrow and then, all being well we can move to the next stage. :) So hopefully we will soon have a date for EC. Will let you know.

Just wanted to say to everyone that I hope that levels are rising and falling as required, that follies are flourishing and that 2ww-ers are getting lots of r&r....PMA all round!

Speak soon,

Judy

Judy, the hcg shot is usually 35/36 hours before EC so it must be very, very close :) good luck!

Hi all,

Looks like everyone is progressing well.

All is still going fine with me, will know tomorrow exactly how well, only the odd twinge from the stimms but otherwise not too bad.

Take care
