Still don't believe it

Post by Loonpants »

Well went for first scan today - a dating scan. I was convinced that I am six and a half weeks PG as used ovulation kits.

The scan says I am eight to eight and half weeks PG and there was a heartbeat. Me and DH got choked up and I started nervously laughing. It is so surreal but nice to know that I'm not imagining things and that there is something in there. Fingers crossed that it stays that way. Fantastic news Lisa,

Its so nice to hear some wonderful news again. Things seem to have been so hard over the last week for so many of us.

We to had a scan yesterday - they put us at 8 weeks! DH & I sat and cried, its so comforting to hear, and see that little heart flickering away.

We have had 3 miscarriages where the heartbeat has stopped & I have had to have D&C's before this so I feel for those of you who have had such bad news recently. We hope and pray that this is the one for us. The clinic are going to scan us every week up to 12 weeks for reassurance!

Everyone is so kind,
Fingers crossed and feet up

Eve
xx

Lisa & Eve - just logged on at work, (dodgy PC at Home)and as above, brilliant news - congratulations. Terri - I don't know how you can hold out for 12 weeks scan. Am now coming up to 8wks and living on my nerves!! Had scan last week after scare and saw heartbeat which was brilliant but have since had pains and still no pregnancy symptons - I am desparate to be sick!!!! Have another scan booked for 10wks and am trying not to analyis every little pain and keep my paranoia in check!!
As said previously - fingers crossed for us all
LOL
Louise
