Hi Ladies

Hope you are all doing well! the 3rd Trimester thread is pretty quiet so I just wanted to check in to see how all of you are doing. I had my 29 week Level 2 Ultrasound and everything looked great. Our baby weighs 3lbs and 5 oz. We are very thrilled to say the least. Best of luck to everyone and hope you all have a great weekend!

Great News on the scan Christine- wish you lots and lots of happiness - its not even 3 months left.
Cheryl,
Welcome to the 2nd tri :D Good to see you here..
A friend came over with Choclit fudge cake to see me..Was thrilled on seeing her and the cake, but funnily, the cake is still there! as in don't have the yearning I used to have to eat it! :o
I'm a self- confessed chocoholic!

LP, as you are counting down to Marbella, I'm counting down to seeing dh- i so hope that his trip works out this time..Gulf Air is going thru a crisis of sorts(he works with Gulf air-the official airline of Bahrain and Oman) so things are pretty dicey now..
Hows everyone else?
Oh well, monday again- almost..Have a nice one :)

Hi all

Just a quick update.

Saw the Midwife today for the 16 week check-up and it went really well.

Got to listen to Little One's heartbeat which was the most reassuring thing ever. Little One has a very, very rapid heartbeat so the Midwife was really happy about that.

Going to the clinic tomorrow to have another blood test for the NK cells - just to check that they are staying low I think.

Hope you are all ok today.

Great news Little P! It is always great to hear the little heart thumping away. Some nice growth will be taking place the next two weeks for you. My doctor says Week 18 is significant. Glad to hear all is well.

Smita

I probably won't get the results before I go, but I'm trying not to worry too much - hopefully it's just a routine check-up so I'm keeping everything crossed.

Only 3 nights - yeh, no wonder you're excited!!!

You take care and sweet dreams

Hi All
Smita - not long til you see DH and good luck for your scan, is it tomorrow?
Little P - have a good holiday
Cheryl - Welcome to the next stage of the 40 week worry!
Gen and Gavin - Glad all is OK have you told your little boy yet? I noticed your signature and my birthday is on 14th Nov too!
Sher - Why is week 18 significant, I never heard that before.
Jamato - Its much better after 12 weeks. You finally start to think Yes I can feel human again!
K - Hope your OK
I'm really busy at the moment as we're in the process of a new kitchen and we've just started on bubs nursery, so we're a tad busy!
I have my scan on Thursday, the fetal cardiac one which looks in great detail at bubs heart, I'm not too worried as my consultant didnt seem worried last time I saw her so I'm hoping all OK.
I dont know if I'm just paranoid but I wake up every day and say how far gone I am. I'm just counting down really to 25 weeks coz after that you're classed as carrying a 'baby' and I'm still a tad scared to buy things in case something goes wrong. Hopefully the Thursday scan will reassure me
Hope I didnt miss anyone

Susie

I don't think you're mad at all - DH and me say good morning to our Little One everyday (and good night) :D

We've started thinking about nursery colours - we've decided not to find out what sex she/he will be so it's going to have to be neutral. We are going to get various sample pots and do some patch tests to see which colour we like best.

Take it easy with the decorating won't you - is this part of the "nesting" period?

Hope everyone is ok and taking care of themselves and their bumps.

Love

Little P

Hi everyone

Hope you are all ok. Ive not had chance to log on until now, in the middle of DIY and DH has been ill for a few days, so kept busy! He started last week with what I thought was a bad cold, but ended up with a fever and bad headaches and neck pain! He's on antibiotics now and appears to be getting better. Was a bit worried though, he was v.hot and he's not really been ill since his Hodgkin's Disease (Lymphoma) 8 years ago. I got a bit worried it was something serious. Id forgotten just how much I relied on him until I had to do everything myself! I guess it reminds me just how much he means to me!
Enjoying the pregnancy still. Apart from nausea, heartburn and leg cramps occasionally. (Last week thought I had a blood clot in my leg at one point, it was so painful!).

Cheryl - Welcome to the 2nd trimester!

Smita - Not long until DH is back! Good luck with your scan.

Susie and Gen/Gavin - All the best with your up and coming scans.

Little P - Enjoy your holls, hope you have a wonderful time.

Hope everyone else is doing ok!

Just wanted to wish your DH a speedy recovery - hope he bounces back to his normal self very quickly. Sorry you've had such a nasty scare

Take care all
