Hi,

Is there anyone else out there who is going through egg retrieval or 2WW in November:?: Would be good to help each other along between now and then.......

we havent got our dates yet, but we´ll hopefully start again (2.ivf) in November.

Hi Sam

We are similar to you, we have been through our first ICSI cycle in July (weak positive then very early miscarrage) and we are planning another go in mid to late November dependant on my cycle.

It is a very stressful and lonely time. It feels like the whole world is having children apart from us and it is very tiresome constantly being asked by others when will we be starting a family! It would be great to chat along the way.

Hi Guys!

I have been recovering from OHSS since August 15th. I am hoping to go for FET in November. Next week I will have my second period since egg collection and am hoping all my blood test show that my hormones etc are back to normal. If so NOVEMBER is for me! (despite my partner trying to talk me out of being pregnant weeks before Xmas! it mean he will have to do the shopping and carry the heavy bags!?!?!?)

Great News

- Thats 4 of us already - makes me for one, feel loads better to know I am not the only one out there!!! Hopefully we will be able to help each other at the difficult times

and cheer each other up......!

In terms of dates, my ER is planned for 14th November - how about everyone else?

Meg - Sad to hear about the failed IVF - I know how it feels - I guess now all we can do is eat heathily, look after ourselves and get ready for the next time...

Carinaboo - What a nightmare with the OHSS - I over stimulated a bit (40 follicles last time) and that was unfortable enough, but it sounds like you have really been through it .......

Great suggestion ref Christmas - I think we should all focus on the fact that if we can manage to get a BFP in Nov then DH has to not only carry the Christmas Shopping, but also wrap it as well!!!!!!

Sally - when are you likely to get news of your dates? Waiting to start again is almost as bad as the 2WW......I hope they come through soon.

For info - I noticed that a few people on this site recommend a book on fertility by Zita West - I bought it a couple of weeks ago and it really is very helpful and gave me a bit more PMA - I would recommend it - it made me realise that I am not as entirely helpless in this process and I can have a real impact

I'm scheduled for ec on the 6th Nov - if all goes to plan. This will be our second ivf attempt. But I have to be honest here we don't expect it to work our % are rubbish because there are problems with me and this ivf is more or less to confirm diagnosis

. Sorry to sound so negative before we start but I have to be realistic. Still miracles can happen.
I'll look forward to cycling along with you guys

I'm sorry to hear your %ages are not great but at least, like you say, you are being realistic - I guess all you can do is to look after yourself and keep a PMA - Miracles can (and Do) happen.........

I stopped smoking (yes

i still have been smoking and was feeling really bad about it during the last tmt) 9 days ago. So i am putting on loads of weight at the mo. But i dont care, as long as i dont have to smoke

Guess once i got used to it i can start shifting the weight again.
