Hi Mandeeq

I just noticed you posted before too. I'm not sure how often everyone looks on this board. Can I suggest that you post this on the General board as that is where you will get lots of replies.

I'm not having IVF yet (might be later depending on results of tests) so I cant' answer your questions, I'm sorry.

I do know how frightening all of this can be though and I really sympathise. Its so tough but if you come across to the general board, you will get lots of support.

Hi Mandeeq

Welcome to the site. You will find a lot of support and help on here from women going through the same. Im sure we all felt the same when we started IVF treatment. It is frightening at first because until you have been through it, you dont know what will happen. This website has a lot of useful information on it, as well as the message boards. If you click on the subjects in blue on the left side of the screen on IVF/ICSI etc, it is very informative. Like Terri has said, you will get more replies if you post on the General forum. (Some people also post initially on the Introductions forum). To post on another forum, just click onto it and either click on 'New topic' on the top left side, or if you want to reply on an ongoing topic on the forum, just click 'post reply' on it. Its the same as you have done on this forum. Maybe your computer is like mine and doesnt want to work sometimes!!
I wish you all the best for your treatment
Love Kim

IVF 1st timer

Post by Linda Wood »

Hello, I too am going through IVF for the first time. I have already started the birth control part and have 5 weeks left to go with that. I start the injections on 11-03-05 and I am really excited. I know the odds are great if the only problem is blocked tubes. So my husband and I are quite hopeful. I have a friend that is going threw it for the second time around, however he situation is a bit different. So I was hoping I could find another IVF buddy to talk to that is going through it for the first time. Stay hopeful and it will happen is my mado.
