Congratulations Brandy!!!! :D :D :D

Colleen, best of luck with the OHSS. Wow! That many follicles must make your tummy very swollen.

My 8-day scan today was a downer. Out of my 10 follies only 4 are growing. They want me back on Monday for another scan. If things keep growing, we'll do the small harvest on Wed still. I don't want to cancel, even if it means we only get 2.

Hi septembies,

Randa - thinking of you and praying that tomorrow all is well and that you have a nice bunch of follices for collection on wed and like the girls say it is quality not quantity that count. Wishing you lots of luck

Colleen - hope you are feeling ok and ohss stays at bay. What a bunch though, wishing yo luck with your scan and bloods, take care

Julesg - hiya dear, will be thinking of you tomorrow, what time is EC? I didnt realise that 6 were not the norm in the room, let me know how many are in with you tomorrow. Were you totally out of it last time?

Judy - will be thinking of you tomorrow, what time is your ET? I wonder if we test on the same day. Mine is at 2-30

Debra - hope you injections are going ok and you are managing to stay away from the nerves!!! How long now?

Paula - any sign of af? are you still doing the jigs? have fun

:?: Was just wondering how much time people are taking off after EC, im not sure what to do or whether to go back the next day. May take 1 or 2 days off. Please let me know what you think.

Take care and best wishes to everyone, sorry if i have missed anyone off.

Love

Hi sue

Did you have IVF or ICSI - maybe that makes a difference on how many are in the room I have ICSI. I was more out of it than I realised last time but I can't hear the lighthouse family cd without being taking back there :!: :!: I came round fairly quick - was a bit scared when they took my specs off and gave me an oxygen mask :!:

EC is at 11.30 - so I may still me there when you are I will send +ve vibes towards the ET room at 2.30 :!: Last time we waited AGES afterward and had to ask in the end if we could go :!:

Time off - a tricky question :!: A very personal choice. Last time (sorry to go on and on about last time!) I had ET on a Friday and it was a BH on the monday so I went to work on the Tuesday - I was off on holiday the second week but that was a coincidence. This time I will (hopefully) not be going to work at all - if we get that far I will ask my GP to sign me off sick. I guess it depends what you do. I could not concentrate so was no good me being there and my job can be stressful. I thought it would be best to go to work and keep busy rather than sit at home by myself - this didn't work for me but we are all different.

Debra - hope you are ok and missing those nerves - I always found it hard the next day

Judy - good luck for your ET and Sue of course

I think I mentioned everyone else in my last post? sorry if I missed anyone

Hi Jules - We ended up having icsi also as they wern't sure if we needed it or not. DH had a couple of tests done which came back with poor motility (is that a word) but he had not got over having food poisoning and was in bed very dehydrated for a couple of weeks, he couldnt get seen as it was around christmas.

the hospital had to do my treatment although they didnt want to because of my weight (no where near the ideal), after mistreating my ectopic, so maybe they thought there would be complications. If you dont have a party in there tomorrow i will take it that, that is the reason. Will be thinking of you and praying you get lots of mature eggs.

when we were there they came around and told people they should think about getting ready to leave, our appointment was earlier though, someone was done at 9 and then i was next.

I felt slightly woozy but was aware of most things expect the embryologist shouting in how many eggs there were. She was lovely.

Take care & good luck

Love

Hi Sue

Did you have Theordora (something like that)? She is lovely I do find the nurses there very good - just a couple of the doctors are a bit less understanding and I guess clinical :!:

Feeling a bit washed out this afternoon - resting and snoozing infront of TV

Good luck tomorrow - will check in when I can

Before I launch into the more general. Don't forget to let me know your test dates as soon as you know. I'm running the October test dates thread and am looking for a sea of :D :D this month :!:

Colleen, get plenty of rest your body is working quadruple time to produce so many follies. I so hope tmt goes ahead with no complications.

Jules - good luck with EC tomorrow. Try and sleep tonight!

Randa - I'll be thinking of you at your scan tomorrow. Tell your body 4 good sized follies is the minimum you're prepared to accept :)

Judy - fingers crossed ET goes well tomorrow.

Sue - re. your EC question. I've always felt OK after EC but tend not to work between it and ET as I've generally booked time off just in case my EC date is moved.

I'm fine. My injections all seem more painful now, I know I'm not injecting the exact spot as there are pin-prick bruises but maybe the whole area is tender? I tend to inject as close to my ovaries as possible. I can certainly feel a heaviness and slight bloating feeling. I take this as a positive sign that things are happening.

Good luck everyone for tomorrow. There's lots happening, hoping to hear good news from all the procedures, scans and updates.

Debra.

Hi Everyone

A really quick post to send lots of babydust and PMA! It's going to be a big week for all the Sept-embies!

All systems go for ET tomorrow at 12noon. Don't quite know what to expect. The gospel according to Zita West seems to suggest deep breathing and visualisation. Bring it on! I think I am going to be terrified that they might fall out on the train journey home! Might keep my legs crossed just in case.

Good luck to Sue for your ET. Will be thinking of you. I am definitely going to take it easy for the first few days and have found a stack of old videos to watch.

Good luck to Jules too...hope there are lots of follies there and that you feel well too. I was completely out for mine last week, but from what you said in your posts it seems as though you are kind of aware of what is happening. Hope it goes brilliantly for you. I found the HCG jab to trigger EC was really sore too. :(

Colleen, so pleased to hear that your EC will be on Tues. Fingers crossed for you and hope you drink lots and keep OHSS at bay. Go well!

Randa/Deb - thinking of you and hoping scans show follies are growing well. Keep up the good work!!!

Pootle - are you still hanging in there? You are in the final bit now...hope you have a good couple of days and keep up the PMA. Mountains of babydust to you!

Lisa - if you are checking in, hope you are feeling a bit better?

Paula - Not long to go for you. Any sign of AF??

Hi to anyone else too. Thought this was going to be a short one but it's just so busy around here! :D

Take care

Hi Ladies,

How's everyone doing today? I don't have long, I've got an early shift today but just wanted to stop in and say AF has arrived!! Woohoo, now it's off to the hospital tomorrow morning to have my fsh tested. Praying its low enough for me to go ahead with treatment.

Brandy, how are you doing? I'm ok, just on pins and needles with this wait. Dh came back on the weekend so that made me feel alot better. Your head is probably still spinning hey? I'm so happy for you!! ;)

Judy, good luck for your et. Hope all your little embies are safe and sound waiting for you. Won't be long now before they're snuggle back inside you :)

Sue, well done on all your 8 fertalizing! You have some frozen as well. That's fantastic. I can see you smiling from here. Good luck with your ET today. Can't wait to hear how it went!

Colleen, how are you feeling? I'm so happy that everythings a go for you. Good luck with your et on Tueday.

Julie, good luck with your et today as well. Wow, I can't believe how many of you girls are having et today or tomorrow. My thoughts are with you all. Take care of yourself. Can't wait to hear your news!

Randa, keep your chin up. It only takes a couple. Try not to worry and i'll be praying that those follies grow for you. Keep up the PMA.

Well girls, I think that's it for me for now. Keep up the PMA everyone. There's alot to be excited about around here. Wishing you all the best of luck in your et's and in whatever stage your at. Oceans of babydust to you all.

Seems like everyone is progressing nicely! This has been a bumper month so far and I am sure it will continue for you gals.

Paula, to answer your question, I am pretty nervous...I just keep praying that everything continues to progress nicely. I go for another blood test tomorrow to make sure the numbers are increasing as they should...worried for the answer :?
