Hi Everyone

Thanks for all your good wishes for my ET. All went really well and they transferred 2 blastocysts back which they said were 'beautiful'! We were really pleased to also have 3 more blastocysts to freeze (and possibly one slow coach who might make it tomorrow) so we are feeling really thankful. The only sting in the tail was that I have to do heparin injections for the next 10 days (until the pregnancy test on 6 October) and maybe beyond that if it works. However, in the scheme of things, it is all for a good cause; and as I said we have much to be thankful for. :)

Sue - glad your ET went well. Hope you are feeling ok. I am terrified to move in case they fall out - how about you?!

Colleen - Good luck for tomorrow. Thinking of you.

Julie - How did your EC go? Hope it went well.

Randa, Debra - here's hoping that the scans show everything to be progressing well. Hope the follie fairy does her stuff for you!

Pootle - Babydust, babydust, babydust ...

Paula - Hope the FSh levels are good for you.

Wishing all the best to everyone else.

Much love
Judy

Hi Septembies,
Good news to report! We will be going through with EC this round (no cancellation like last time). I have a min. of 5 large follies and then some smaller ones that could surprise us by Wed. HCG tonight. EC on for Wed!!! :D :D :D
Thanks for all your well-wishes. I feel very blessed right now.

Judy - 2 blasts that were "beautiful," what a lovely thing to share with us! I really like the sound of that! And more to freeze... you are so fortunate! Forgive me if I'm behind on this, but why the herapin? Enjoy your 2ww (I know that's easier said than done.)

Julie - how was your EC? Hope it went perfectly.
Colleen - good luck tomorrow for EC!!!
Sue - Happy for you that ET went well! "9 cell" I think that's the highest I've heard of!

Debra, hoping your scan this week is very fruitful!

And best wishes to everyone else waiting for news or changes to come. What a month September has been so far, huh?

Hi ladies,

I'm only here for a minute. I'm a bit upset right now but will get myself together and be back. Had my fsh results and they were 22 so there's no tmt for me right now.

Good luck to everyone else right now in every step of your tmt's.

Huggs

Oh Paula, I'm so sorry. That wasn't what was needed at all. You must both be very disappointed. Be very indulgent and kind to yourselves.

double hugs
Debra.

Hi all,

randa - at least 5 large follies that great, wishing you lots of eggs on wednesday

Judy - great news on your blasts, i take it yours was a 5 day transfer. How come we have 4 days difference in testing when mine was a 3 day? Just wondering. My nurse told me that both sides of the womb are together, like a sandwich cake and the embies are the filling, so they wont fall out!!! :? I have not heard that before but like the sound off it.

Jules g - How you doing? Hoping everything went well. How many spectators did you have?

Colleen - wishing you lots of luck on your EC, hoping to hear that you have got lots of lovely eggies.

Debra - How are you doing?

Pootle- wishing you the very best and hoping for that longed for :D , not long now!!!!

brs888 - How did you blood test go? Hoping everythin is fine, take care

Paula - thinking of you xxxxxxxx

mitch - how are you doing? take care

Lots of love & luck to all septembie girls

Thanks for remembering about my blood test, Sue :) The results were really good. They like the HCG levels to double and mine went from 417 to 940. So, I fell pretty good about that. The next step is my first scan which will be at the beginning of next week. I thought I would be so happy just hearing the BFP, which I am ecstatic, but I didn't expect to be this nervous about the pregnancy itself. This is normal right?!

Paula, so sorry hear about your FSH...take care of yourself. We're all thinking of you.

Judy, way to go...I have a good feeling about this :)

Hi brs888 - Great news about your HCG, the numbers look fab :D . Im sure once you see your little bean next week it will help to put your mind at rest a little. after all you have been through to get here its not surprising that you cant relax, just try and enjoy the experience as best you can.

For me when i get a BFP i know i wont relax till i see a heartbeat because with both ep and m/c i never got to see one, so for me that will be a milestone.

Take care & well done

Love

Hi All

Paula sorry to see your news - take care

Just a quick note very sleepy today and a little bit sore

Had 9 eggs ( which I was intially disappointed about after having about 16 follies) 8 very suitable for ICSI and 6 have fertilzed which i am really pleased about - 2 are going back tomorrow

Sue - there 5 people in the room - the doctor who collected two nurses the embryologist and a spare man who did nothing - no idea who he was :!: We left at 2.30pm - so when you were having your ET - if they were on time :!:

Judy - I am pleased ET went well

Sorry go to go - love and hugs to everyone else

Paula,

Heartbroken about your FSH report. Mine is not where they like it to be either, but we press ahead anyway. I hate to see that be the end of it for you, seems overcomeable (not a word really, but fitting). I agree with others that you would do yourself a favor to avoid any rash decisions until you've had time to get your head completely around this.

Others in the "over-40-crowd" have lowered their fsh levels with diet and acupuncture, please forgive me if you've already tried all that. We have so many ladies on these two threads (Septembies and over-40) that I lose track sometimes.

Please update us when you are feeling better. Or sound off if you get to feeling worse. We are here for you.

Julesg - great news that 6 of your eggs fertilized, wishing you all the best for tomorrow. We didnt get in for ET till 3-30pm, so annoying as i was dying to go the loo!! It was quite an emotional thing seeing the little embies on the screen.

Loads of luck & love

Jules, I think your stats are great. There are quite a few people who start with a really high number and drop to a handful by EC. You're doing great with 6 ready to go/freeze. Good luck tomorrow, let me know your test date asap! I LOL at your having a 'spare man' in the room, please find out tomorrow who he was!! We usually have 3-4 in the room, the doctor, one nurse, the bio-technologist and once an extra nurse when they were trying out something new and she was observing.

Am wishing my week away and desperate to get to Thursday to know how I'm doing. My problem is having nothing to do! I cancelled work for this week as it was due to be EC/ET and am just ambling around getting bored. Sounds terrible doesn't it? I'm brill with advice for others but shocking at following it myself. I am eating healthily and making sure to have lots of protein, which as a pescatarian who doesn't like fish, means some planning but more than doable.

How did everyone else's Tuesday go?

Brandy, great news re. your HCG....looking very good!

Judy, well done on ET, you're on the test date list :)

Randa, I'm so so so pleased everything came good in time for tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you.

hugs
Debra.
