Colleen,
Oh my goodness! I know too well about the shoulder pain from the abdominal gas they use when puffing you up for a procedure. OUCH! I hope yours subsides soon, mine lasted two days the last time I had it.

UNBELIEVABLE! 52 EGGS!!!! Congratulations! :D

Oh my goodness 52 eggs Colleen!! :D :D
Now that has to be a record, surely. Wishing you well - hope the gas isn't too bad.
Drink plenty of water and rest up - sending over baby dust for all those little eggs to be fertilised.

Catch up later as I have to go to work - still trying to keep positive but struggling a little.

Hi everyone, great to catch up with all your news.

Paula - I am SO sorry about your FSH levels. It is cruel news for you and DH. I do hope that you can find a way to go forward. Thinking of you...

Colleen- WOW!! 52 eggs is truly amazing. Hope you rest loads and drink loads of water. When is your ET?? Good luck for the next bit.

Randa - hope your EC went well too. Keeping fingers crossed.

Julie - how did the ET go. Was thinking of you and hope that you are feeling OK.

Debra - Good luck for Thursday - hope it goes really well.

Brs888 - Fantastic news about your blood test. I am sure you will feel better as time passes. :)

Sue - was pleased to hear all went well with you. Thanks for the advice about the sandwich cake thing. Am trying to relax! Not sure why my test date is so much earlier than yours. The clinic seem to test at 10 days - perhaps it varies from place to place.

Tracii - how far have you got with your treatment.

Am trying to follow Zita's advice and put my feet up!

take care

Colleen, best of luck with the fertilisation rates. I hope the shoulder pain subsides very quickly, it's awful isn't it?

Julie, how did ET go today?

Randa, sending you very positive thoughts for your EC today.

This is just a half-message as I'm off for an early night. Only been in 20 mins from my evening class

hugs and best of luck
Debra.

Post by Sarah J »

Hello again ....

Just been to collect my stims - down reg ok but crashing migrane last week. Still walking my puppy and keeping active, but feeling rather low...
hoping the 'happy hormone stims' will kick in now.

Had fabulous massage last weekend - Does anyone recommend acupuncture or massage while on stims.. :?:

Oh Pootle, I can only send you a cyber (((((((hug)))))). Sorry it's not the real thing and sorry you got a BFN this time.

Don't rush into making any decisions, agree with DH on a break of 'n' months and only then see how you feel. First time success isn't esp. common, most people take more than one try. Your experience and the clinic's information on your meds/response etc. will all help any next attempt.

Take very good care of yourself.

hugs
Debra.

My scan this morning was only so:so, although it could have been worse.

Three good sized (16, 15 + 11mm) follies + one smaller. All on the rhs which the doctor thought very odd and spent ages looking on the left but found nothing. We have a good follie:egg record and a good fertilisation rate (c. 90% for both). If we only end up with one viable fresh egg next week we'll supplement it with upto 2 of our 3 frosties - if 2 survive of course. I've been prescribed 2 more days of stims/Puregon, EC is 0800 on Monday, ET on Wed. afternoon.

Colleen and Randa, is it too early for fertilisation news?

Sue, Judy and Julie - how are you newly ET'd people doing??

Hi Sarah, you might want to ask your clinic what they advise. There are different views, most seem to think it OK up until EC with targeted acu for ET for those who have been working towards this with a therapist.

Wishing everyone else a good Thursday.

Debra.

hi all.... i'm still feeling like i've been kicked in the stomach 50 times... well i'll say 52 times... it's actually hard to move around, although the shoulder pain is better, i still gets bouts of STABBING pain.. i'm hoping that today is going to be the turn around day, and i'll actually start feeling a bit better.... but i am SO bloated, i can only wear one pair of my pants (the elastic kind)... but have not gained too much weight, and still peeing, so we are still holding off OHSS (as of this minute).

we found out that only14 of the eggs fertilized, which seems low.. for having 52 eggs..... i was hoping for closer to 20... well, we hope that these are great eggs and do the trick!! we are tentavily set for ET on saturday.... but they can call at any moment and change that.... so we are hoping for the best.. i am hoping to feel tons better by saturday, it may be a pipe dream... but PMA, right!!!

well, all.... i am going to go lay down..... it's quite uncomfortable to sit at the PC... should have used the laptop...ohwell..

take care and good luck to all..
