congratulations bonbon!!! :D
I got a BFN I'm afraid. I was expecting it though, as last night AF came in full force. It was the first try, so I just need to concentrate on getting well and ready for the next try...
On the brighter side, I have got some good things out of this ivf attempt. I've taken control of my health and I generally feel really good. I've had a chance to look at my career (am planning career change) and my marriage has strengthened through it. I know I will get pregnant, I just need to develop my patience.
I'll be back on this thread from Jan!!
Thanks to everyone for such caring and invaluable support, you've been amazing.

Paula, so sorry to this attempt didn't work out. Your attitude is brilliant and exactly what you'll need to prepare for your next try.

Do take some time out to indulge again, enjoy 'normal' life with DH and relax. The cummulative effect of repeated tmts is easy to underestimate.

I know you half expected a BFN but don't be surprised if you get hit by a wave of grief or tears a bit later on. It just hits home sometimes.

hugs
Debra.

Lulu and Bonbon - Congratulations :D :D :D

Paula - I am so sorry it didn't work out this time. You definitely have the right attitude and your time will come. Don't be afraid to cry...when I got my negative I was very stoic and then about 2 weeks later I just broke down...so if you feel it coming on...go with it...it will make you feel better...as well as a nice glass (bottle) of red wine.

thanks to everyone for your empathy and caring. I have been crying on and off....I swing from feeling really upbeat, to teary and awful. I generally do tend to 'over cope', so I'll make sure I attend to my soreness.
Both my sisters in law are currently pregnant, and its really brought up the deeper stuff for me. Jealousy, envy, anger etc. And I dont want to see them when I go back home (they live in south africa), I'm afraid I'll feel so small.
Sigh. You ladies have really helped me feel normal and a bit more able to own my more 'unacceptable' feelings.
Here's to community and women supporting women
Much love
