FROZEN EGG TRANSFER THREAD......

Post by LISA@BELLASALES »

HI LADIES,
I HAVE BEEN SPEAKING TO ALOT OF YOU PRIVATELY AND THOUGHT MAYBE WE COULD USE ALITTLE SUPPORT FROM OTHERS WHO HAVE HAD SUCCESSFUL FET'S.
I HAVE BEEN DOING ALOT OF RESEARCH AND I REALLY THINK IT DEPENDS ON THE PERSON AND THE EMBRYOS. WOMEN HAVE HAD POSITIVES WITH VERY LOW GRADE EMBRYOS AND I THINK YOUR ATTITUDE HAS ALOT TO DO WITH IT.
LETS HELP EACHOTHER THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT TIME....
LOTS OF LOVE & HUGS...

HI JACKIE,
GLAD YOU JOINED... WE ARE BACK AT THE CLINIC 0N 10/11. WE HAD TO FREEZE 6 BLASTOCYST, DUE TO MY OHSS AND SEVERE DEHYDRATION. IT WAS SO HARD TO NOT HAVE THOSE BABIES PUT BACK IN, BUT I WAS SO SICK. I HOPE YOU READ MICHELLE FROM SCOTLANDS POST AS SHE GOT A POSITIVE FROM FET.
I HAVE PCOS, SO THEY ARE TRYING TO GET THAT UNDER CONTROL...
HOPE SOME OTHERS WILL JOIN US AS THERE ARE ALOT OF WOMEN GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING. I HAVE TO HAVE A MEDICATED CYCLE AS BECAUSE OF THE PCOS I DO NOT GET MY PERIOD EVERY MONTH....
WE ARE GOING TO BE A DAY APART.
LOTS OF LUCK.

Hi Ladies

Well I had my Frozen Embryo transfer yesterday, so am 1 day into the 2ww. I had my first attempt of IVF in May, unfortunately a BFN and we had 12 embies to freeze.

They took 4 frosties out on Wednesday afternoon, all four survived the thaw - the two that were put back were 4 cell when frozen and thawed and grew over night to a 6 and 8 cell with no fragmentation, so they are now safely back inside and hoping they are carrying on growing. I am determined to keep up the PMA.

A lovely story to share with you all - whilst I was in the waiting room at the clinic yesterday waiting for my transfer and man came to the desk to bring a present for the Nurses, his wife had just given birth to twin boys and had IVF at the clinic. I heard him say that her first IVF cycle failed and she went on to have a FET cycle which was a success and gave birth to the twins yesterday - it made me feel so much more confident.

Anyway I am going now to try and occupy myself and take my mind of this wait.

Good luck to you all.

Hi girls

Just wanted to wish you all Good Luck on your FET. What a lovely thing to happen Karron - fantastic timing. I wanted to let you know that I did a FET in August and am now 9 wks pregnant (first FET). My embies were frozen very soon after collection (for various boring reasons!) at one cell. They were only 2 & 3 cell when put they were back. I just wanted let you know a success story to hopefully give you plenty of positive thoughts.
Love Vicky.

Hi Everyone,

I am doing a FET with transfer TODAY!!!!!! :D I am getting excited. :D

The FET cycle has been a breeze. I will have three embies nice and safe inside me in less than 8 hours (hoping they all survive).

I have been real nervous about how these embies will do during the thaw process. I will update you all once I am back and on the 2WW.

Hi Ladies...count me in too. I am adopting two frosties. My transfer date was postponed from Friday(Oct 7) to this Monday (Oct. 10). I am praying they will make it through the thaw. I want them both but will be thankful for just 1).
The parents of these embies got pregnant twice from this batch. They are however 8 years old. So I'm hopeful and worried at the same time.

Love to all the Ladies here on this thread.
I hope to join you on a 2WW soon

A big hearty Congratulations to Vickyp for your successful FET!
Image

I had a BFN on my 1st IVF attempt last Aug, and have 4 (8 cell)frosties waiting for me. We're hoping to do FET sometime next year, so for now we're just having a much needed break.

Good Luck to all for your ongoing tmts!

Looking forward to hearing more successful stories in this thread Image
