October 2ww

Post by Judy »

Hi there,

Thought I would start a new thread for those who are going through their 2ww in October.

I have 5 more days to go and am desperately trying not to interpret every single ache and pain.

Anyone else going through similar???

Good luck to all and mountains of baby dust!

Hi Judy,
You're in your 2ww- wowie!!
Not long to go!!
Its funny how we analyse every single ache and pain we go thru during the 2ww-going thru a roller coater until we convince ourselves we're pregnant once minute and not the next.
Anyway,
sending you lots of patience, positive thoughts and babydust!!

Hi Judy,

glad :D you started this thread up, i thought we needed one. the main thread is getting a little quite as people are nearing the end of their treatment.

5 days WOW not long now, and just think next summer we could be showing our babies off, exciting. Now i have only got 9 days, single figures so getting nearer. Like you every little twinge is a cause for concern but so far nothing major to report. Still talking to my embies, trying to make them feel welcome and wanting to stick around.

Have already told DH when i have a baby i want one of those 6ft storks in the garden anouncing the arrival to the neighbourhood (i wish we lived on a main road), then more people would see it!!!

Hoping everyone else on their 2ww are doing well

Take care and lots of baby dust on its way to you

Love

Hi everyone!

Another day gone!! Sue I loved the stork idea - does this mean that you will have two out if its twins???

Still trying to control my imagination and not analyse every single twinge. However impossible to not wonder...

MB - hope you're doing OK? Can't believe that we will know by next weekend. I have AF pains too...but like Smita says I think that can be good too.

Keep up the PMA!

Hi All

Sue - I was thinking that I would be in single figures tomorrow - sounds better doesn't it :?: :!:

Well I have been resting since wednesday no PC - either been in bed of lazying in front on TV (city hospital makes me cry  :!: )

Do have AF type pains and wind (sorry to much info) but as it is only day 4 still feel fairly postive trying best not to anaylse anything - VERY hard not to as you will all know

Had a four cell and a six cell - don't know if that is good but the 6 is better than last time and I feel optimistic (at the moment :!: )

Well got to do my pessarie (can't spell) and lie down for 20 minutes so good luck to us all

Take care
Love

Hi all,

Julesg - glad you could pop in and let us know how its going. Yes single figures is definately better. Mine is just a week now  , im getting quite worried. Yesterday was my first negative day but hopefully school will keep me focused. Are you bored of all the telly yet? I used to love watching columbo and diagnosis murder. Yes i can totally understand the wind bit !!! great news on the cells, everything looking good. :D

Judy - How you feeling? Nearly there, youre doing fab. yes the controlling the imagination is hard. I hadnt thought about twins and the stork but i think there is enough room to add another name on if not there will definately be 2 blocking out my sunlight!! Still hoping but feeling a bit emotional and negative this weekend. Should be fine today once back at school.

Smita - thanks for all the encouragement, your little pictures are fab, they make me laugh. Hope you are still doing fine.

MB - Not long now, like the ladies have said af pains could mean anything, you just never know because BFP syptoms are so similar. Keep up the PMA there is no reason that you cant get that :D

NickiMark - How you doing?

Heres hoping that the oct testers do even better than the september ones.

take care

Love

Hi there,

Jules - great to hear how you got on. It sounds like you're doing all the right things regarding rest etc. I have to confess to watching "This Morning" too (purely for relaxation purposes!!). Can't quite take the medical programmes though - too many needles!

Sue - have posted elsewhere too, but just wanted to say that I hope you're doing OK and managing to keep the PMA going. I have definitely had my ups and downs too - I guess its all part of it. Keeping fingers crossed...

MB - Hope you are well. Sending PMA and mountains of babydust for the 5th.

Thanks Smita, Little P and Nicki for good wishes. Really appreaciated!

Good luck to everyone!

Thanks Judy. I am so nervous. Like an idiot I did the HPT this morning and it was negative. I am trying to stay positive and not to worry. It is hard. I guess I just need to pray. I can feel AF coming though and its breaking my heart.
