New School PhD Candidate interested in the following:

What effect does the Internet have on women and assisted reproductive technology? Has the growth of the Internet given women more choices in reproductive medicine?

If anyone has donated eggs or obtained eggs through the Internet, I would be grateful if you would be willing to share your experience.

comming on to this forum has helped me to stay sane.
the heartache of ivf or iui or any reason of not being able to get pregnant is heart breaking.

there have benn many of nights that i have just sat here and wondered why on earth i was even born.
this forum has helped me to know that i am worth something with our without a child and that i can contribute something to this world.
as many other women can.

i think i will always long to have our baby. but this forum has helped me threw treatments and neg and mc.
i am very thankful for everyone..
it has amazed me that there are so many of us going threw this heartache. and that we are all over this world. and because of the entrenet we have been able to help eachother..

Hi, without the internet I would not have heard of the clinic where I am going to have treatment with donor eggs. I communicate with them via email as I am in the UK and they are in Spain. I first heard of them through this site which has been the most incredible source of information and suuport through my 6 failed treatments.
So, yes, the internet has most definitely helped!
